This big beautiful boy is the sweetest man you’ll ever have in your life. He is stoic, goofy, incredibly friendly, and has one of the purest souls you’ll find in a dog. At risk of euthanasia for exhibiting signs of kennel stress, we knew this kid needed to be busted out of the shelter. Once he settled into our environment, he became a completely different dog. His past is unknown, but he arrived to us with a 5 inch scar across his head and some missing bottom teeth. Combined with his hand shy nature in the beginning, we assume he didn’t have the best life before us. He’s responsive to training, friendly with female and male dogs (but really enjoys his girlfriends lol), and doesn’t exhibit any signs of prey drive. He is crate trained, does not have any separation anxiety, and even walks nicely on the leash! This dog is the perfect shepherd for beginners. Stark had been overlooked for too long. It’s time that he lands his forever home!

Introducing Yogurt (Yogi)! This beautiful girl was living on the streets of South Texas, trying desperately to protect her 10 young puppies. We rescued this family just in time as Yogi and her babies came down with parvovirus. They all received the best treatment but tragically only half of the puppies survived. Now that she is finished raising her family, Yogurt is now getting to experience the life she deserves in her foster home filled with comfort, safety, and love. She does wonderful with dogs of all sizes, especially her foster brother Rottweiler named Gus. They are the best of friends and he is helping to show Yogurt all about life as family pet in a real home. Yogi loves to be around people, especially her foster dad. She follows him all around the house and is just content with being close by. She looooves pets and belly rubs. She recently discovered toys and it’s amazing to see her so happy! Although we don’t know for sure what breeds Yogi is mixed with, we are guessing possibly Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois. She is very athletic and enjoys walks and time outside. We believe she would do amazing with a family who is active (hiking, walking, running) and can give her daily exercise. Yogurt is incredibly smart and is doing great with training, including potty-training and leash-training. Yogurt is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Because of this, she is available for adoption to families within the Austin area. Our rescue covers the full cost of her heartworm treatment. Meet Willow Female | Belgian Malinois Mix Willow is a smart, sensitive, and incredibly loyal girl looking for a patient, loving home where she can truly shine. The good stuff (and there’s a lot): • Potty trained and very routine-oriented • Excellent house manners — when she’s free in the home, she’s an absolute angel • Loves to follow her person around, relax on the couch, chew a bone, or sunbathe • Sleeps through the night (and would happily sleep in bed with you!) • Never tried to jump the fence • Walks beautifully on leash and excels at loose-leash/heel work • Neutral and calm around other animals (dogs, cats, chickens, birds, even cows!) • Extremely smart and highly trainable — picks up new skills fast • Would make an awesome hiking or running partner for someone active Training & personality: Willow thrives with structure and mental stimulation. She loves training and caught onto commands quickly, including sit with an automatic stay, down, patience at doors, and even “sit pretty.” She’s eager to work and clearly enjoys learning, making her a dream for someone who enjoys training and bonding through it. With other dogs: She enjoys playing with other dogs and can relax around them. She does show some mild resource guarding (food, toys, affection), such as growling or showing teeth, but it never escalated and was very manageable with supervision and boundaries. With continued training and the right home, this is something that can improve. Crating & alone time: Willow does best outside of a crate when her person is home. She can panic if crated and left alone, sometimes attempting to escape. When free in the house, she’s calm and well-behaved. A home willing to work on separation confidence or provide appropriate management would be ideal. The ideal home: Willow would thrive with: • A patient, experienced adopter • Someone active who enjoys training and bonding • A calm, structured environment • Continued positive reinforcement and confidence-building Willow is a loyal, loving dog who just needs the right person to help her feel safe and secure.
