I brought Meeka into my home after she was rescued from an abuser when she was a year old. At that time, we lived at my parents house so she had a large backyard to roam in. Moving to Austin, however, she doesn't have the space to run anymore (she is now 6 years old). She's a kind dog overall. Has been around children, puppies, men, women. She does have a high prey drive towards cats. She is energetic and can play fetch forever. Tennis balls are her favorite things to play with. She does well at the groomers. As far as other adult dogs, she picks and chooses who she wants to get along with. I hope to send Meeka with a person who loves her as much as I do but has the space/backyard/time to let her burn her energy and enjoy the years she has. Meeka wasn't in my plan when she came into my life, but I have grown to love her and hope she falls into a place that she deserves to be in.
