This big beautiful boy is the sweetest man you’ll ever have in your life. He is stoic, goofy, incredibly friendly, and has one of the purest souls you’ll find in a dog. At risk of euthanasia for exhibiting signs of kennel stress, we knew this kid needed to be busted out of the shelter. Once he settled into our environment, he became a completely different dog. His past is unknown, but he arrived to us with a 5 inch scar across his head and some missing bottom teeth. Combined with his hand shy nature in the beginning, we assume he didn’t have the best life before us. He’s responsive to training, friendly with female and male dogs (but really enjoys his girlfriends lol), and doesn’t exhibit any signs of prey drive. He is crate trained, does not have any separation anxiety, and even walks nicely on the leash! This dog is the perfect shepherd for beginners. Stark had been overlooked for too long. It’s time that he lands his forever home!

Introducing Yogurt (Yogi)! This beautiful girl was living on the streets of South Texas, trying desperately to protect her 10 young puppies. We rescued this family just in time as Yogi and her babies came down with parvovirus. They all received the best treatment but tragically only half of the puppies survived. Now that she is finished raising her family, Yogurt is now getting to experience the life she deserves in her foster home filled with comfort, safety, and love. She does wonderful with dogs of all sizes, especially her foster brother Rottweiler named Gus. They are the best of friends and he is helping to show Yogurt all about life as family pet in a real home. Yogi loves to be around people, especially her foster dad. She follows him all around the house and is just content with being close by. She looooves pets and belly rubs. She recently discovered toys and it’s amazing to see her so happy! Although we don’t know for sure what breeds Yogi is mixed with, we are guessing possibly Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois. She is very athletic and enjoys walks and time outside. We believe she would do amazing with a family who is active (hiking, walking, running) and can give her daily exercise. Yogurt is incredibly smart and is doing great with training, including potty-training and leash-training. Yogurt is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Because of this, she is available for adoption to families within the Austin area. Our rescue covers the full cost of her heartworm treatment. Sable is a loving and gentle dog who is full of energy and curiosity. She is affectionate, funny, and she loves to make new friends (human or canine) Sable's foster told us Sable is one goofy pup, who will greet you with woos and howls to show you how happy she is to see you. In her foster home she has 2 foster fur siblings who have been showing Sable the ropes. She loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy living somewhere with a yard or going on walks and playdates. However, she also settles nicely and would be content in an either an apartment or house setting. Sable is young gal so if she doesn't have a yard regular walks for enrichment would be so beneficial. She is crate-trained but if invited to the couch or bed will happily abide. Sable is a sweet and goofy pup and after everything she's been through we can't wait to see her find her "happy ending" We are sure she would bring lots of love and fun to her new home.
