Story
Meet Darrell Darrell is a handsome Belgian Malinois with brains, heart, and boundless energy to spare. Smart, curious, and endlessly enthusiastic, this boy approaches life with the kind of zest that makes every day an adventure. And if you want to win him over fast? Just bring treats — they're absolutely his love language. Don't let his high-drive breed fool you into thinking he's all business, though. Darrell has a wonderfully gentle and thoughtful side. He's been patient and kind with an 8-year-old child, striking that perfect balance between playful companion and careful friend — a testament to just how tuned-in he really is. When it comes to the practical stuff, Darrell is already ahead of the curve. He's crate-trained, appears mostly housebroken, and is a surprisingly calm travel companion — he's proven he can handle Northern Virginia rush-hour traffic like a seasoned commuter, riding comfortably through trips of an hour or more. Outside, Darrell truly comes alive. He thrives on walks, runs, and outdoor adventures, and loves nothing more than putting that brilliant Malinois mind to work — whether he's tackling a wobble feeder or sniffing out hidden treats scattered across the yard. Active, loyal, and fun to train, Darrell is ready to be your devoted partner in crime. Could you be the adventure he's been waiting for?    Adoption fee includes: first 2 DAPP, bordetella, deworming, flea preventative, sterilized, heartworm test, microchip Adoption fee: $525.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Nedd was a stray in Miami and I pulled him as a foster in early November. Technically, I adopted him last month, so that he could come with us on our move from FL to VA. The animal welfare situation down there is truly awful and I’m hoping for more luck finding his furever here. Nedd is approximately 8. Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, Heartworm negative, and on preventatives. He knows basic commands like sit, down, shake, stay, wait, come, go get a toy, and more. He is currently working on some off-leash skills. He loves his morning walks/jogs, working on obedience, playing tug, fetch, and flirt pole. He does have prey drive, so no cats/small animals in the home. I have children that he does great with. I also have a Saint Bernard and a Great Pyrenees that he lives with. He is very handler focused. He is house trained and sleeps on a dog bed in our room all night long. He would come with a collar, leash, bag of Sundays Dog Food, beds, toys, and more!

Story
Seeking a highly qualified foster or adopter looking for a working or sport dog. Lycan is trained in German, knows bite work, has high ball drive, and was scheduled for euthanasia before we stepped in. Seeing the intelligence behind this dog, we sent him straight to a trainer. They confirmed what we already suspected—someone put real, professional work into him. He reads your hands, responds to commands, and is ready to work. He’s engaged, aware, and looking for direction. Maybe he flunked out of a program. Maybe he got lost. He didn’t have a tag or microchip, so we may never know. While we don’t know his exact breed or mix, some have suggested he may come from KNPV lines. That’s not our area to confirm, but we welcome feedback from those familiar with this type of dog. Aside from his drive, he’s excellent with people. Lycan will give you his paw and roll onto his back the second he meets you. He’s social, confident, and genuinely enjoys interaction. He loves to work. He wants a job. That’s where he’s happiest. Lycan is five years old, about 70 lbs, neutered, heartworm negative, and currently in boarding with a trainer until the right home is found. He’s medium to high drive and currently reactive to male dogs, which is manageable for someone experienced and familiar with dogs like him. We are looking for a specific home: sport, protection, or working, or simply someone who can handle this type of dog. Someone experienced who understands what they’re looking at and actually wants a dog like this. This is not a casual pet. He needs to be engaged and given a job so he can live up to his full potential, because that’s what he truly enjoys. Transport available anywhere in the U.S. to approved applicants. Current location: Houston, TX See #Lycan0192 on Facebook for more info.

Story
Meet Fang! Fang is a 7Âפ year old sweetheart who's ready to find his forever home! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—so he's all set to go. This handsome guy absolutely LOVES everyone he meets. He has a super sweet personality with a fun, puppy-like energy that makes him such a joy to be around. Fang enjoys going on walkies, playing with toys, and running around the play yard. He also rides great in the car and did wonderfully at the vet—such a good boy! We're not sure how Fang does with cats, and his behavior with other dogs is currently unknown, so a dog test will be required. Fang is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion—he'd happily join you on a hike and then relax right by your side on the couch afterward. We believe he may be a shepherd mix, and he came to us as a stray, so we don't have any background history on him. If you're looking for a loving, fun, and loyal companion, Fang might just be your perfect match Come meet Fang and see for yourself how special he is!Interested in adopting? Meet Henry: 55 pounds of zoomies, confidence, and LEGS FOR DAYS. At 3&#194&#1504 years old, Henry is energetic, large, and absolutely in charge of fun at all times. Jury's still out &#194&#151 he hasn't submitted his official report yet. Kids? Yes! He loves them! Just keep in mind this goofy boy doesn't quite understand that he's not a 12-pound lap dog. He can get a little jumpy when he's excited (which is often... because life is exciting). This long-legged superstar would thrive with an active family who appreciates daily adventures, walks, playtime, and maybe the occasional &#194&#147Henry, four on the floor!&#194&#148 training session. He's a smart cookie and will absolutely benefit from continued training to polish those manners and learn some boundaries. Underneath the enthusiasm is a very good boy who just wants to do his best.
