Watson is on the hunt for his ride or die BFF. This handsome 70 pound Malinois mix was surrendered through no fault of his own due to a recent change in his home situation. Watson is very friendly, playful, and loves people, and he truly thrives on attention. Because he sometimes forgets just how big and strong he is, any children in the home should be 10 years old or older. Watson can also be quite forward when meeting other dogs, especially females, so a meet and greet with any resident dogs will be required prior to adoption. To ensure his success, adopters should have relevant breed experience such as German Shepherds, Malinois, or other high drive canines, as Watson will benefit from knowledgeable guidance to help him become the best companion he can be. Additionally, Watson has some seasonal skin allergies that will likely require ongoing husbandry throughout the year. Meet Aero 🖤🐾 Aero is a striking young Belgian Malinois who narrowly avoided being dumped at an overcrowded shelter, thanks to a family who stepped in to keep her safe. She is approximately 7–8 months old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and dewormed—ready for the right next chapter. True to her breed, Aero is very high drive with intense prey and hunt instincts. She has been evaluated by a local, experienced canine handler, who confirmed that Aero is best suited for a working or sport-oriented home, or a very active, Malinois-savvy household that understands how to properly channel her drive. She is not a casual pet—Aero wants a job. This girl lives for the chase and could happily pursue a ball for hours on end. Because of her extremely high prey drive, Aero is not suitable for a home with cats, small prey animals, or small children. She will need clear structure, firm boundaries, and ongoing training to help her thrive. Aero is intelligent, athletic, and highly motivated. In the right hands, she has the potential to excel in sports, working roles, or advanced training. She will do best with an experienced handler who appreciates the Malinois temperament and is excited to work with her, not manage around her. Aero was saved because someone recognized her potential—now she’s looking for the person who can help her fully realize it. 📍 Experienced, committed adopters only.
