Story
Kuno is our awesome 5 year old Malinois /German Shepherd Mix. This big boy is housebroken, crate trained (altho he hates being crated), rides well in the car, walks well on leash, is good with other dogs, children, as well as cats. He loves to play ball. Kuno is a strong boy- breed experience preferred. He does not have the drive nor energy of malinois or German Shepherds. Kuno would rather play for few minute then just lay down and chill. Meet Artemis – Your Adventure Partner Awaits! Artemis is a beautiful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart for adventure and a brain to match. This smart girl is looking for an active person or family who wants a true partner for life. Her absolute favorite activity right now is going on long off-leash runs with her foster mom and her foster dog sister. Artemis thrives when she can stretch her legs, explore, and work alongside her human. If you enjoy hiking, trail running, training, or outdoor adventures, Artemis will happily be right by your side. Like many Malinois, Artemis is incredibly intelligent and eager to please. She loves learning and will flourish with someone who enjoys training and giving their dog a job. The good news? She isn’t overly sharp or intense like some in her breed—she has a lovely balance of drive and sweetness that makes her a joy to work with. Artemis would do best in a home that understands the needs of an active, working-breed dog. She will thrive with regular exercise, mental enrichment, and someone who enjoys engaging with their dog every day. Because of her strong prey drive, Artemis is not suitable for a home with cats, small animals, or small livestock. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and incredibly smart companion to share your adventures, Artemis may be your perfect match. Ready to meet Artemis? She’s ready to find her person.

Story
We first got Maney when he was 8 weeks old on Valentines day. We have grown together as a family for over 11 over years now. We recently just had our second child but we have just found out she has severe allergies to his hair. Shampoos are not working and neither is haircuts and no one we know wants a dog of his size. He enjoys cuddling and being rub all day. You will need to have a heavy duty vacuum on hand because he does shed alot. He is house trained and great around the kids and other dogs. He has never been around cats so i dont know how he will be if he gets around one.

Story
Auntie Em is a beautiful, German Shepherd Dog/Pitbull mix (50/50 according to the DNA test). Her dark Brindle coat and copper eyes are simply stunning - this girl turns heads! She is about 3.5 years old and weighs 64 pounds. She is very smart, obedient, powerful, and full of energy. If you are interested, please research both breeds. High energy, working dogs require a lot of exercise and stimuli. Auntie Em is very particular with other animals. She has interacted with various sized dogs. Sometimes it's playful, sometimes it's not. She does not like when other dogs get in her face or show any excitement or dominance. There is not a lot of warning when she's upset. A new owner will have to work with her and learn her cues and how to redirect her. Her prey drive is there for little furry things too, therefore no kitties. Em would do best as the only pet. She has loved all the people she has met so far with proper introduction. She is CRAZY food motivated. Em will eat anything, but chicken seems to make her itchy. Poultry free diet for this girl! She is gentle when taking treats, but is a bit protective of her bowl and yummy treats. Because of this and her occasional bursts of energy (zoomies), no children under 12 in the household for this gal. Em will definitely benefit from some obedience training to polish her manners. She does know some basic commands. She will go in a crate, but she does not love it. Em can be trusted in the house alone as long as she has her toys. She LOVES her toys. She also loves to hang out on the couch and on the bed if you will let her. Em will go in the car just fine - she is a little anxious at first, but settles down. She is micro-chipped, UTD on vaccines and spayed. She does get seasonal allergies too, but it is easily controlled with medication as needed. Em is going to make a wonderful pet for the right owner. Is it you? If you are interested, please fill out an application on www.homesfurhounds.org.

Story
Meet Echo – The Queen of the Puppy Dog Eyes-Echo has one of those faces that`s impossible to forget. With her soulful, expressive eyes, she`s clearly mastered the art of convincing people she deserves `just one more treat.` Judging by how much she loves snacks, it`s probably worked more than a few times! While treats are definitely the way to her heart, they`ll need to be enjoyed in moderation. When it`s time for a walk, Echo is ready to explore. She loves being outside and enjoys following her nose, taking in all the interesting scents the world has to offer. She adapts to wearing a harness with ease and is happy to stroll along at her own pace. Running vehicles can make her a bit nervous, so she`ll appreciate someone who can help her feel safe and build her confidence.Echo is also dog friendly and enjoys the company of other canine companions. Best of all, she`s highly treat motivated, making her an excellent candidate for continued training. Whether you`re teaching her new cues, polishing her leash skills, or simply strengthening your bond, Echo is eager to learn when tasty rewards are involved. If you`re looking for a walking companion who loves to explore, has unforgettable puppy dog eyes, and is ready to learn with the right encouragement, Echo may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her—you might just find yourself falling for those irresistible eyes, too.
