Story
Bailey-Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd/mix-female-spayed-2 1/2 years-75 pounds. Meet Bailey! This energetic, driven girl is a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix — smart, athletic, and full of working-dog heart. She has intense ball drive, loves jolly balls, tennis balls, and KONG toys, and thrives when she has structure, training, boundaries, expectations, and plenty of exercise. Bailey bonds deeply with her people, and once she trusts you, her loving personality truly shines. She is dog-friendly but sometimes choosey with her friends. She would do best in a home without cats or young children, and with someone who has breed experience. She’s housetrained, knows sit, stay, come, and down, walks beautifully on leash, and even auto-sits when you stop. Bailey should be crated when left alone and will absolutely flourish with an experienced, active adopter who understands high-drive breeds. If you love a dog with brains, drive, and a huge heart, Bailey might be your perfect match. Because of her drive and intelligence, Bailey is not ideal for a first-time dog owner. Breed research and experience are STRONGLY recommended. In the right home, she will be an amazing, loyal companion. Apply to meet her at www.cchswi.org DATCP License #266742-DS

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ____________________________________________________________ Coordinator: Brandy Whiddon/Kelli WilliamsonMeet Cairo – AKA “Cai” – Your Future Adventure Buddy (and Occasional Personal Trainer) Looking for a best friend who’s part dog, part rocket ship, and 100% loyal? Meet Cairo, a ridiculously handsome Belgian Malinois with Olympic-level energy, a heart of gold, and the emotional range of a golden retriever on espresso. Cai’s hobbies include: Sprinting like he’s being chased by his own ambition Hiking like he’s training for a National Geographic documentary Playing fetch like it’s a competitive sport (bring two balls unless you enjoy being outwitted) Dominating agility, dock diving, barn hunt—honestly, if it involves movement and showing off, he’s in. He’s crate trained (but expects an explanation if you’re having fun without him), super treat-motivated, and polishing up his manners—including learning not to greet people like a linebacker. Cai is a ride-or-die kind of guy. He loves confident humans (bonus points if you’re female, but competent dudes are welcome too). Now neutered, he’s channeling his energy into learning, bonding, and gradually retiring his career in artistic leg-lifting. Now, let’s talk about his one true nemesis: weather extremes. &#226&#152&#128&#239&#184&#143 Too hot? He’s filing an HR complaint. &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143 Too cold? He wants a parka and a written apology. &#226&#155&#136&#239&#184&#143 Thunderstorms? If there’s even one cloud with attitude, Cairo is going on strike. If it’s raining hard or thundering faintly in the next ZIP code, he’ll hold it until the skies are blue and the squirrels are singing again. He’s not dramatic—just extremely specific. Cai’s dream home includes: &#226&#156&#133 No tiny humans (unless they’re part-ninja) &#226&#156&#133 Dog-savvy adults who know a Malinois isn’t a “chill in the backyard” kind of vibe &#226&#156&#133 A playful female dog or easygoing small male &#226&#156&#133 Maybe a cat—he’s curious, not criminal If you’re ready for a smart, hilarious, occasionally weather-phobic best friend who’ll love you like it’s his job, Cairo’s your guy. He might steal your heart, your shoes, and your spot on the couch—but you’ll never be bored again. Message Kelli Fort-Williamson to meet this high-voltage goofball and start your next adventure. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ____________________________________________________________ Coordinator: Brittany Berger/Daria AdamsCurrently fostered in VA Looking for a dog with a heart as big as her ears? Meet Bela — a gentle, soulful girl who’s been patiently waiting for her person to come along. Bela is more reserved than her outgoing sister, but don’t let that fool you — once she trusts you, she really trusts you. Her fosters describe her as sweet, sensitive, and smart as a whip. &#226&#156&#168 A few things to know about Bela: She loves head and ear rubs (prepare to be charmed by her little white chin while she leans into your hand). Knows sit and stay — unless a squirrel, cat, or deer tempts her wild side. Polite at mealtimes — sits and waits to be told she can eat. Walks great on a leash and is comfortable with a collar or harness. Prefers not to be crated (she’s been known to Houdini her way out). She sleeps peacefully on a dog bed in the bedroom at night, but is crated when her humans leave the house. Protective of her toys and treats, but no issues with food. Needs supervision in a fenced yard — this girl has serious squirrel-chasing dreams and can climb fences (and yes, even trees). Not cat-friendly, and barks at visitors, but settles down once everyone is inside and seated. Then, she’ll graciously accept pets and attention like the dignified queen she is. She may shake at the vet or hang back in new situations, but Bela has a kind and trusting heart. With a patient adopter and a bit of encouragement, she’ll blossom into your most loyal companion.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.ABMR thanks you for taking the time to look at our malinois available for adoption.  March 7, 2026, 10:54 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ____________________________________________________________ Coordinators: Carol Aulick & Chris Wood Frye is part of The Texas Boot Babies , Janet's puppies. He is the tan & black male 5. Janet was found in Texas and led her finders back to her litter of eight puppies. Mama Janet is a Malinois, and we await DNA testing to know the breed(s) the puppies are mixed with. Frye is quite a little bruiser. All Janet's puppies are happy, outgoing, and eager to explore. They have been exposed to a lot of different noises, and they rebound from startles quickly, wanting to investigate.  They are very curious, and they have been handled relentlessly.  They are on an excellent routine, and this helps them with housetraining. The puppies have all been tested with loud noises and different surfaces to walk on. They all seem to be very level headed.   These baby boots are made for walking all over your heart , so get those applications in now! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ____________________________________________________________ SEEKING: My Forever Home  Hello! My name is Honey, and I'm on the hunt for my very own forever family. About me? Well, I'm a beautiful, mature lady with a youthful spirit, a heart full of love, and eyes that everyone says are impossible to resist. Seriously—one look into my soulful eyes and you might find yourself filling out adoption paperwork. The humans keep calling me a "senior," but I think there must be some mistake. I still have plenty of energy, love to play, and approach every day like a dog half my age. I'm what they call a "people dog." I love everyone I meet and firmly believe that strangers are just friends I haven't hugged yet. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room, supervise all household activities, and make sure you're never lonely, I am exceptionally qualified for the position. My favorite things include: Hugs and kisses Following my people everywhere they go Playing with dog friends Squeaky toys (the squeakier, the better) Treats of all kinds Raw chicken feet (the greatest delicacy known to dogkind) Learning new things for snacks because I'm very food motivated I'm house-trained, crate-trained, walk nicely on a leash, and I'm even bilingual—I understand both English and Spanish. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having canine friends to play with. I'm also comfortable around horses. Now, because every good personal ad should be honest, here are a few fun facts about me: I occasionally enjoy interior decorating. Specifically, I like to redecorate dog beds by removing the stuffing and may borrow clothing items left within reach. Because of my creative talents, I do best being crated when my people aren't home. Fortunately, I can settle in very nicely in my crate. I would not be a good match for you if you cohabitate with cats. I stay feeling my best with my Purina Pro Plan meals and daily Cosequin. In return, I offer endless affection, unwavering loyalty, plenty of laughs, and a lifetime membership in my fan club. If you're searching for a companion who will love you with her whole heart, greet you enthusiastically every day when you come home, and stick by your side through every adventure, please submit your application: https://www.malinoisrescue.org/forms/form?formid=6574 Love, Honey P.S. If you bring chicken feet to our first date, you will earn a special place in my heart  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.ABMR thanks you for taking the time to look at our malinois available for adoption.  June 12, 2026, 1:55 pm
