She is quiet, well-mannered, and not destructive. She’s currently learning to walk on a leash and is doing great! Amanda enjoys car rides, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and sleeps peacefully in her crate. She happily shares her bed and absolutely loves being cuddled and spending time with her people. Amanda and her four siblings were found abandoned in a cardboard box outside a veterinary clinic. Thankfully, the veterinarian reached out for help, and a dedicated rescuer brought them home to safety. Since then, Amanda has received all the care and veterinary attention she needed and is now healthy, happy, and ready for her forever family. I am a merry mix of some wonderful breeds. I am 44% German Shepherd Dog, 21% Labrador Retriever, 8% Golden Retriever and 7% Siberian Husky. I was born on 7/11/2025 to a beautiful mom who is primarily GSD and an alleged dad who was primarily Black Labrador. Somehow I ended up with some Husky characteristics; more than my siblings did. I was the most distinctive puppy in the litter. My 'baby' photo is included at the end of my photos. I was so darn cute! I was previously adopted by a family with 3 young children and a senior dog whose energy level was not compatible with mine. I returned back to my original foster home where I live with two older dogs and my mother (Libby). I am young, energetic and would do best in a home with a confident, well balanced dog who has a similar energy level. Or, I would be fine being the only dog in the home. Your choice. With the help of everyone in my past, I went through some special training that helped me learn many things including obedience. I am house, leash, and dog door trained. I am young - just over 1 year old - and I'm just a teenager. Like a teenager I can be stubborn and headstrong. I like to test my environment and can be both frightened and confident depending on the situation. All my vaccines are up to date and I am microchipped, and spayed. I love people and get along with my foster family dogs but need proper introductions and boundaries to feel comfortable in new environments. I have incredible potential to be your new best friend. When can we meet? The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/lancer This handsome boy, around 5-7 years old, faced a catastrophic limb injury prior to landing with us. He was likely hit by a car, but we canÃ¢â&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢t say for certain. What we know for certain is that we couldn't say no and knew we had to help him! Sweet Lancer was picked up as a stray by Animal Control. He was non weight bearing on his front left leg and seemed to be in a lot of pain. The shelter had an X-ray done to check out the leg. The radiographs showed multiple fractures of the Ulna and of the Radius. The shelter sent an email out saying that this dog had to be rescued by 4pm. At first glance, we didn't think we could take on yet another complicated medical case, but we also couldn't stand the thought of Lancer being euthanized and we sent a volunteer transporter out to pick him up. Lancer went straight to our vet where his X-rays were evaluated and it was decided that the best outcome for him would be amputation, as his fractures were displaced and pretty old. (His leg had been left broken and mangled for some time.) We can't imagine how painful this was for him, but youÃ¢â&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢d never know it based on his personality. Ã°Å¸â&#194&#128&#194&#153â&#194&#132¢ Lancer fully recovered from his surgery, can get up and down stairs, gets along with large and small dogs, and enjoys zoomies and playful dogs more than just about anything. This cutie is shy and timid around new people (especially men) at first, but once you build trust he'll follow you to the ends of the earth (to ask for belly rubs). He can be more scared of children, although he has lived with them and currently lives with teenagers in his foster home, but doesnÃ¢â&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢t interact with them (by choice). When they get too rambunctious, he removes himself. Lancer is a gentle soul who canÃ¢â&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢t wait to find his forever family.
