Story
I adopted Ginger from the Humane Society 2 years ago. She was probably 4 months old. I love her but I am having a couple of problems. We do not have a fenced in yard. She is energetic and I do walk her a few times a day. She is reactive to kids on scooters and bikes. She wants to chase them..... We have had probably $2000 worth of lessons so I guess the problem is me. She is sweet. Could we find a farmer who wants a dog?

Story
I adopted Garth three years ago from the Humane Society. We have been living in apartments together, but now, Garth is looking for a new home. Garth is such a good dog. He is a friend, protector, and great for cleaning up leftover food. He is very independent and can be left alone for a good amount of the day, but he also loves to frolic and play! He would be very good in a family situation, but he has also made an excellent companion for me living by myself. About Garth: About 4 years old Adopted from the Humane Society Great energy, playful, and loving Has completed professional training lessons Good with routine and enjoys staying active Very sweet and bonds well with people My life is changing as I am getting married and moving, and I can no longer support Garth like I would love too. I know the best thing I can do is find him a new loving home! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Story
Nora is an absolutely gorgeous German Shepherd who is quickly approaching her first birthday!  She is smart as can be, goofy and friendly. Nora is mostly potty trained, kennel trained, walks well on a leash and knows a handful of tricks.  Nora’s ideal home will have a 6 foot fence (she can jump shorter fences) and no cats or apartments. You definitely need a sense of humor to have Nora in your life. She loves to “talk” when she’s playing, play tug of war and bring random things to her kennel to save for later. She enjoys supervising her foster mom cooking by always laying in sight around dinner time. Nora hasn’t been phased by fireworks or storms but Halloween decor is definitely suspicious to her on walks. She has many nicknames like Nora-nucci, Ga-nora, Nora-virus, Nori and she responds to them all! Nora is just about everything you could want in a young German Shepherd and would be a great addition to a loving home.   She was born Feb 17th, 2025 To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs.   All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.March 8, 2026, 6:28 pm
