Sheeba is my name and I am quite the celebrity around here :) Let me tell you all about it... have a seat and grab some tea. I was living on the streets with a gang of friends... found by a rescuer we were being fed but there was no room to put all of us. Of course, I was pregnant and after I gave birth the rescuers were afraid with all the storms that my babies wouldn't survive out there. So the pound was called, and let me tell you....I WOULD HAVE PROTECTED MY PUPS WITH MY LIFE........ of course, that is deemed "aggressive" and after my two day stray hold I was going to be euthanized and my puppies sent to rescues to bottle feed and raise up :( But MY rescue said, UH UH... She comes with the pups.... and they MADE IT HAPPEN! Now, it wasn't easy but I settled in to the routine and learned my caregiver's names and soon enough I was eating out of their hands. And they learned some neat but sad things about me.... I belonged to someone who trained me....... it is sad because no one has any idea where that person is nor why I was living on the streets :( Also, I am a very smart girl so I am also very sensitive to change....but, with my pups grown and adopted, I am now a model citizen at the rescue. Look at my video....I had JUST met the trainer that day and she absolutely fell head over heels for me. Now I am ready for you, I will complete your family. I am still working on my other dog skills and would probably be best where I can be the only dog and give you all my love. I am a gorgeous girl, my coat resembles a Belgian Shepherd's and I have GSD face and mannerisms. So if you want to adopt me, you must love and understand the working breeds. We need an outlet for our drive and you have to provide that to give me a great balanced life. I am ready, I hope you are too!! Local adoption only, $200 (in TX) (or if you want to drive down to meet and take her home that is cool too :)

Story
Hi there. My name is Miss Piggy, and I am a young German Shepherd with just a little bit of Husky mixed in. I got my name because when I was born I was the biggest girl in the litter. I made sure to push my brothers and sisters out of the way so I could nurse first. Somehow, I still ended up being the smallest now that we are older. So unfair! Like most young shepherds, I have plenty of energy and personality. I would love an active family who enjoys playtime, walks, and spending time outside. I absolutely love playing ball. Sometimes I chase it and sometimes I try to steal it from my foster dad. Both options are equally fun. I also like carrying sticks around the yard just to tease my brother and sister. Stuffed toys are one of my favorite things. If you hand me one, I can turn it into a fluffy snowstorm in record time. Squeaky toys usually last a few days before I figure them out. Even though I love to play, I also have an affectionate side. My foster parents cannot give me enough belly rubs and chest scratches. I will happily stretch across their laps asking for more attention. I currently live with foster grandkids who are 4 and 8 years old and I do well with them. I can get a little excited and jump when I want attention, so I would likely do best in a home with slightly older children who understand that I am still learning my manners. I am house trained and know how to use a doggie door. I am still working on my leash skills and my foster family is helping me continue my training and socialization so I can be the best dog possible for my future family. There is an outdoor cat where I live who prefers to keep her distance from me, so I am not quite sure how I would do with cats if one decided to get closer. My foster parents even did DNA testing on my parents. My mom is 100% German Shepherd and my dad is 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky. I was born on July 20, 2025. Miss Piggy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions.
