Story
***IN FOSTER***Loki is no trickster! In Marvel movies, Loki is the God of Mischief. However, our Loki is a sweet boy who prefers to seek affection rather than engage in mischievous deeds.Loki and his sibling were surrendered to the shelter, and despite living under the same roof, it was apparent that these two cats were not simpatico. His sister was bullying him, and Loki, being more sensitive, was suffering. We also noticed that Loki was underweight and had patches of missing fur, a condition known as alopecia. The reason given for surrendering was a history of inappropriate urination. After medical issues were ruled out, it was determined that the cause of Loki's inappropriate urination, malnourishment, and alopecia was acute stress due to bullying. Since transitioning into a foster home where he is the only cat, Loki has been thriving in his newfound independence. His foster parents only have positive things to say about him. When Loki arrived at his foster home, he spent the first few hours exploring his new surroundings, rubbing his body on the furniture, and happily purring up a storm while making biscuits. He is very playful and particularly enjoys springs and wand toys. During his downtime, he likes to snuggle up under blankets to keep warm, and he sleeps near his foster parents throughout the night. He will actively seek out attention and affection, always purring for more. The ideal home for Loki would be one where he is the only pet. His experience with small children is unknown, but given his gentle nature, he would do best in home environments with low stress levels. If Loki sounds like the ideal cat for your home, please submit an adoption application for this sweet boy today!--------------------The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175.
