Meet Nigel!! (case #19788) Introducing Nigel, a handsome 2-year-old gentleman who has recently arrived on the scene with... well, let’s just say he’s had a rough night out. Nigel showed up with a rather dramatic amount of hair missing from his hind end and a small wound at the base of his tail. What happened? We may never know. Was he involved in an intense wrestling match with a particularly feisty squirrel? Did he lose a high-stakes game of “don’t touch my tail”? Did he simply have a disagreement with an army of fleas? Our best guess is flea allergy dermatitis, but Nigel isn’t talking. And honestly, we respect his right to remain mysterious. The good news? Nigel is on the mend! His wound is healing, he’s feeling much better, and his hair should grow back...er... eventually. In the meantime, he’s rocking his unique look with the confidence of a cat who knows that true beauty comes from within... and that nobody can resist a good personality. And Nigel has personality in spades. This boy is super friendly, incredibly social, and ready to make a fantastic first impression. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action and would love to meet the people who will appreciate him for the charming, affectionate guy he is hair or no hair. So, if you’re looking for a cat with a great story, an even better personality, and a rear end that’s currently undergoing a very exclusive renovation, Nigel might just be your guy. Come meet Nigel. His hair may be a work in progress, but his heart is already ready for his forever home. Meet Jessie!! (case #18482) Yeehaw! If you’ve met her brother Woody, then you already know this family has plenty of kitten energy—and Jessie is ready to join the adventure! At 4 months old, Jessie is a sweet, playful girl who has made incredible progress over the last couple of months. When she first arrived, she was a little unsure of the world, but she has really come out of her shell and continues to gain confidence every day. Jessie is definitely the more cautious sibling. She may need a little extra time to decide that you’re her kind of person, but once she feels comfortable, you’ll see more and more of her personality shine through. She can be handled without a problem, although she’d probably prefer to know what’s happening first rather than enthusiastically volunteering for cuddles! Because Jessie is still building her confidence, a home with another friendly, well-socialized cat could be a great fit for her. Having a feline friend around may help her feel more secure and give her a buddy to play with while she continues learning that people—and life in general—can be pretty great. Jessie isn’t looking for someone to rush her. She’s looking for a family willing to give her the time and patience she needs to settle in and blossom. And if her progress over the last two months is any indication, this little cowgirl has plenty of personality waiting to come out of hiding! So saddle up and give Jessie a chance. With a little patience, she just might become your newest favourite partner in adventure. Meet her at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek. **Please note: we only adopt within Ontario.

Meet Enzo!! (case #21768) Picture it: a dark alleyway, the streetlights flickering overhead, fog curling through the shadows. Somewhere in the distance, you hear a mysterious rustling. You turn the corner and there he is... Enzo. A three-year-old streetwise gentleman with the kind of rugged look that says he’s seen a thing or two. At first glance, you might think this handsome guy is the neighbourhood brawler. The sort of cat who runs the streets and settles his business after dark. But then Enzo steps out of the shadows. He slowly makes his way toward you, and suddenly the tough-guy act disappears. Because this intimidating-looking fellow isn’t looking for a fight at all. He’s looking for love. Enzo may look like he belongs in a gritty crime drama, but underneath that tough exterior is a soft-hearted boy who would much rather trade alleyway adventures for affection, cozy naps, and a safe place to call home. His days of lurking in the shadows are over. Enzo is ready to leave his street days behind and become someone’s lovable house panther. All he needs now is a person willing to look past his brawler exterior and discover the big-hearted lover hiding underneath. Come meet Enzo. The only thing he’s guilty of is stealing hearts.
