Story
We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see a vulnerable dog that is in need of our help. Jasmine was one of these dogs that deserved our attention due to her excellent temperament and all the love she'll bring to a dog-crazy family. Sweet Jasmine's irresistible personality and silly goofiness is a gift that she will bring to her Colorado family. This sweetie deserves to have a wonderful home filled with pure love, respect and nurturing.
Jasmine is the kind of dog who, once comfortable in her environment, snuggles in close, loves you up and then puts her head on your shoulder breathing her warm breath. She's so sweet (while being initially a tiny bit shy) and so very loving and irresistible that you can't help falling head over heels in love.
Jasmine was relinquished to a scary Texas shelter whose director understood who that this unloved girl, in order to thrive, needed a family that truly adored her and would make certain that she was happy, well-fed and living in a nurturing environment with lots of love and kindness.
Jasmine is a stunning 18 month old Bernadoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog / Poodle mix) that is nothing but pure love. This 18 month old, 40 lb girl is SO sweet and once acclimated to her new life, is as loving and engaging as can be.

Jasmine is a perfect size and temperament to accompany her family just about everywhere a sweet dog is welcome. She will fit right into virtually every situation due to her great temperament and love of life. Our dream for this very loving pup is a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes her for life.
As Jasmine becomes comfortable in her forever home, she will blossom and become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more Jasmine will shine with her accomplishments.
Farfel's would like to see our wonderful Doodle in a home that includes her in family time and activities (some couch time with belly rubs would be perfect!) as well as taking that extra step to participate in positive reinforcement / force free virtual or in-person training classes. These classes successfully teach a very smart and cooperative dog like Jasmine the skills to accompany her family out into the world with excellent behavior. Farfel's Rescue is happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person force-free trainers in your area.
Jasmine will be a devoted companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a silly, fun-loving and irresistible dog. This social girl would also enjoy having another gentle and fun dog to play with, but it's not mandatory if her people are loving, present and engage in playtime, socialization and fun.
This wonderful girl would also do well with a younger family that works from a home-based office. She would bask in the periodic attention and cuddles throughout the day that this life-style brings.
Jasmine has a stunning tricolor coat that is currently shelter-sad. She will require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming (approximately every 8 - 10 weeks) and great nutrition (5 star food and a daily salmon oil supplement are excellent protocols for longevity and coat care) to keep Jasmine's coat super- healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free.
Current research is very clear that the best diet we can provide for our pets is a fresh, human grade diet. Farfel's wholeheartedly recommends Chi Diet (chidog.com) due to our personal experience with our own dogs. It's one of the most important choices we make for our dogs great health and longevity.
Jasmine has been fully vetted and is up to date on her vaccinations in order to receive her interstate health certificate for transport between Texas and Boulder. These protocols support Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. Jasmine has also been spayed to create a future where dog euthanasia due to overpopulation will become a thing of the past.
