Story
Bijou is a sweet little Poodle mix. He is about 2-3 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was found dumped on the side of the road in a crate with another dog who has since been adopted. Bijou was matted and terrified when he arrived at Tiny Paws. It’s been a long road but he has made excellent progress and come such a long way in his foster home, but is still quite shy when meeting new people. Bijou is sweet and affectionate to his foster mom. He is so excited to see her that he gets the “tippy tappies” and that has become his nickname. He loves his foster siblings and we are requiring another confident dog in the home that can help show him the ropes! At this time, we are also requiring a home with a fenced yard for him. ******************** Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Mango is a sweet, affectionate, and loving 1-year-old girl who has never met a stranger. She truly loves everyone she meets and has a gentle, friendly personality that makes people fall in love with her quickly. Whether she’s cuddling beside you on the couch, following you around the house, or greeting you with excitement after a long day, Mango is happiest when she’s with her people. Mango got her name because she is just as sweet as the fruit itself. Her warm personality and loving nature leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets. She has a special way of making people smile and quickly becomes a cherished companion and member of the family. Making the decision to rehome Mango has been incredibly difficult. We recently welcomed our infant daughter, and after consulting with medical professionals, we learned that she has allergies to pets. Because of this, we must make the heartbreaking decision to find Mango a new home.
