House trained. Gets along with other dogs but is possessive with toys and food so he would do best in a home with no other pets.. Bernard is a big boy, approximately 75 lbs, who thinks he is a lap dog. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. If you are looking for a bigger fluffy girl, then meet Whitley. She is probably a Great Pyrenees mix, and she is about 18 months old. She weighs around 66 lbs and shouldn't get any bigger. She was kept outside but now is enjoying being an inside dog. She doesn't like her crate much but if you let her sleep on her dog bed in your room, she is good all night. She is still learning how to walk on a leash, and her foster is doing a great job with her. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Whitley’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
