Story
We have 3 Bernese mountain dogs that work on the farm. They are super friendly, but they need lots of attention, we are trying to keep them in the fields but they don’t like it. They were trained for about 6 months but since we are only at the farm once a week, they are not getting enough attention and their training is not working since there is no one to continue it. They are lovely, sweet, and affectionate dogs that could possibly become indoor dogs with the right training. They have been outdoor dogs for their entire lives, and need space or frequent walks if they were to become indoor dogs. With some training and love they could become excellent companions. All we wish is for him to go into a loving home.

Story
The mother of the puppies is a Great pyrenesse and the father is a bernesse mountain dog. Great Pyrenees are calm, independent, and protective guardians, while Bernese Mountain Dogs are affectionate, people-oriented, and eager to please. Their mix is a large, gentle, loyal dog that blends strong family devotion with moderate guarding instincts and a thick, heavy-shedding coat. Both parents grew up on a farm and are fully outdoor dogs. The puppies can be indoor or outdoor dogs. These dogs will grow up and be large dogs, not suitable for small spaces. They are available for on-site pick up. There are 9 puppies in this litter and are super cute and affectionate. Great for families or an overall companion.

These pups are in Newark, New Jersey too!

If you would like a specific dog to be featured on our show, please email us at info@greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org.** Meet Archer, a playful Great Pyrenees whose idea of a bullseye is landing directly in the middle of fun, every single day. Born around June 2024, Archer is handsome, hilarious, and remarkably skilled at launching happiness in all directions at once. He’s a world-class goofball with a sweet, easygoing temperament, who somehow manages to feel like a big puppy and a five-star dog at the exact same time. Archer adores his foster parents and greets them with dramatic play bows worthy of a Shakespearean stage every time they walk into the room. But his absolute best friend is his female foster dog sister—the two spend their days bouncing around the backyard like a pair of joyful, oversized popcorn kernels. Because of this, Archer would prefer that his forever home comes equipped with another playful dog—preferably a lady friend who appreciates his signature brand of fun&#226&#128&#145loving enthusiasm. But beneath all that silliness is a  smart boy who already knows “sit” and is eager to keep adding skills to his quiver. Archer is house trained, crate trained, and cat-friendly, meaning he can share a home with felines without turning it into an action movie. Archer does occasionally forget his size and may hop up to say hello, so a home without small kiddos would be ideal while he continues to polish his manners. He’s also still working on his leash skills—he sometimes pulls a bit, but only because the world is full of mysteries and he is determined to investigate all of them before dinner. But he’s genuinely trying his best to walk like a gentleman and he's improving every day. Archer hasn’t just filled his foster home with love—he’s filled it with laughter, silliness, and the unmistakable feeling that something fun is always about to happen. If you're looking for a stunningly handsome, laugh-out-loud playful best friend who will keep your days brighter and your backyard busier, Archer is ready to take his shot.
