Story
Dora is the best dog and a perfectly lovely girl in all respects. She came from a terrible background and nearly froze to death before she was saved from a very high kill shelter. Today, she's all smiles all the time, romping and playing with her many friends at Dogtown Ranch while she waits for her perfect family to come along. Could that be you? Call us today and let's put Dora under your Christmas tree...you couldn't find a better dog to join the family and raise kids with. Dora is like living with a happily ever after Disney movie.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

Story
So sad to write this but we are looking for a new home for this sweet girl! We rescued her a couple months ago but we have 2 other dogs and I’m due in 2 weeks with my 5th baby and it’s just too much for us to keep her. About Gracie:- Vet thinks she’s between 1-2- She is very very sweet- Thrives off human connection- Very good with kids, she lets our 2 year old climb all over her no problem- Great with other dogs, it took her a good week or 2 to get used to my 2 dogs but now they’re best friends and play all day- House trained- Leash trainedShe will come with a pink harness, collar and leash. My biggest concern is making sure she goes to go to the right family! I will want to meet you ahead of time 🙂 Thank you!!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: none Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 9:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Scout is a 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees with a calm, easygoing personality and lots of love to give. She’s the kind of dog who’s happy doing just about anything—as long as she feels at home. Scout loves people and enjoys attention, but she’s also perfectly content spending time on her own being lazy and relaxing. She’s truly happy either way. Scout loves water, running around, and chasing her dog friends during playtime—especially on a rainy day. She also has a naturally protective side and does a wonderful job keeping an eye on the house, while still being incredibly sweet and gentle with the people she loves. One of Scout’s favorite things is curling up on her bed for a cozy midday snooze after a little fun outside. Scout would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, relaxed dog with a playful side.    All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
