Jasper came to us from a neglectful situation, tied up outside with a rope that became embedded in his neck. He still has the scar. What he does not have is any hard feelings about people. He is friendly, happy, and good with other dogs. A little anxiety lingers, mostly at the start of new things, and it fades once he knows he is not going anywhere and nothing bad will happen. He has plenty of energy, loves his toys, and already knows a few commands. Car rides are a favorite. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but he is willing. Jasper is looking for an active home with the patience to help him finish learning and is happy to provide a friendly, loyal companion in return. www.hlcr.org/adoptable-dogs/jasper

Buck is a very friendly Mini Bernese Mountain dog. We bough him directly from a breeder in Ohio for our daughter. He is 18 months old, neutered and house trained. He is great with kids and other dogs. Life has gotten too busy for us to keep him and we are looking for a loving home for him to go to.

Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Wonton Tony is the sweetest, goofiest five-month-old Pyr/Lab mix to ever trip over his paws and look great doing it. He has already mastered the most important skill: being velcro-ed to his people at all times. Wonton is incredibly food motivated, making him easy to train and redirect. He's fully house trained and has taken to leash walking like a champ. He’s obsessed with most toys, but tennis balls most of all.  Still very much in puppyhood, Wonton is teething and on a constant mission to find the best chew toy, so he'll need plenty of good options to keep  busy. And like most puppies, he’s either at full-speed or completely asleep (belly up). He's wonderful with cats and other dogs and is looking for a family who wants an affectionate, goofy buddy. He’s neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, so now he’s ready to find his home! Wonton Tony is currently being fostered in Portland, OR. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) These puppies can be livestock dogs to farms and homesteads experienced in training LGDs. They also must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly. Adoption Fee: $375 All of our puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. I'm Keller.  I took a long bus ride all the way from Texas to hopefully find my forever home here in the PNW.  Paws crossed! Foster mom tells me that I'm one of the most mellow foster dogs she's had. I am crate trained and walk nicely on a leash.  I enjoy laying on the deck, laying on dog pillows, laying on the couch, and laying on the bed.  Don't be fooled by all my mellowness though, when me and my four legged foster brother get to rumbling we can play, and play, and play. I love tumbling around in the backyard and playing with the squeaky and rope toys. Although it's not required, I would enjoy being adopted into a forever home with another playful dog. Some things that I know about me: I love giving my humans kisses, I enjoy eating ice cubes out of my outside water dish, I take treats nicely and know how to sit, I learn really well from other dogs in my household,  and I am a little nervous riding in the car, but I'm pretty sure that once I get used to it that it will be no big deal.  I would really like to meet you if you think that we'd be a fantastic fit.   All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing.
