Story
All hail Queen Remington! Her majesty happily answers to Remi, "Your Royal Fluffiness," or the crinkle of a cheese wrapper opening. At 7-to-9 years young, this regal Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees/Lab mix is proof that true royalty is gracious, humble, and deeply devoted to couch naps. Remi’s story didn't start in a palace. She spent months fending for herself near a construction zone at the edge of a new build neighborhood. When her CTR finder was able to give her safe passage to her foster castle, Remi made it clear that her spirit was resilient, as her love for people and other animals never wavered for a second. Since being rescued, she’s gained back her healthy weight and rediscovered her youthful zest for life. What does an ideal day look like with her royal highness? Meals fit for a queen and crucial indoor or outdoor lounging time. A loose leash walk around the block might be in the cards, or she might give you a masterclass in couch napping. When the moment strikes, she'll show you goofy bursts of play with her favorite toys or doggy friends before resuming her rightful place as your quiet, fluffy shadow. Remi will sit down to manage all treat dealings of the day with a pawshake like the courteous queen she is Remi is roommate royalty! • Gentle Giant: Low-key and mellow 90% of the time, with delightful bursts of happy energy. • Social Butterfly: Kids? Loves 'em. Other dogs? Fan favorite. New people? Fast friends. • Perfectly Polite: Fully house-trained, non-destructive, and no resource-guarding or counter-surfing tendencies. Remi is searching for someone who wants a chill, gentle family dog; a loyal companion to spend easy, cozy days alongside. Whether you live in a home or an apartment (this queen will plop when faced with long stairway so better to live on ground floor), with a big or small family, roommates or solo, Remi goes with the flow and she’ll fit right in with grace, love, and a whole lot of fluff. Ready to meet Queen Remington? Apply for Remi to get a meet-and-greet scheduled. She's being fostered in the Austin area and is available for in-person and virtual meets. Story
I'm Ranger, a 7-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, and I'm ready to grow up in a home that's just right for me! 🐕 At 41 pounds, I've got plenty of room to develop into a strong, loyal companion, and I'm still a pup, so there's so much we can learn together. I'm friendly, gentle, and smart, which means I'm eager to bond with a family who can guide my training and help me become my best self. I'm waiting to meet you right here at the shelter. Come say hello and let's start an amazing adventure! 💛

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Wonton Tony is the sweetest, goofiest five-month-old Pyr/Lab mix to ever trip over his paws and look great doing it. He has already mastered the most important skill: being velcro-ed to his people at all times. Wonton is incredibly food motivated, making him easy to train and redirect. He's fully house trained and has taken to leash walking like a champ. He’s obsessed with most toys, but tennis balls most of all.  Still very much in puppyhood, Wonton is teething and on a constant mission to find the best chew toy, so he'll need plenty of good options to keep  busy. And like most puppies, he’s either at full-speed or completely asleep (belly up). He's wonderful with cats and other dogs and is looking for a family who wants an affectionate, goofy buddy. He’s neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, so now he’s ready to find his home! Wonton Tony is currently being fostered in Portland, OR. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) These puppies can be livestock dogs to farms and homesteads experienced in training LGDs. They also must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly. Adoption Fee: $375 All of our puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. All of our puppies are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959 Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 12, 2026, 11:33 am
