Sammie is a beautiful 3-year-old Cavachon with a heart full of love and a personality that will steal yours! This sweet girl is friendly, affectionate, and happiest when she’s spending time with her people. She loves attention, cuddles, and being part of the family. Sammie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but she would truly thrive as an only dog where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She enjoys canine friends for playdates and socializing, but when it comes to her forever home, she’d prefer to be your one and only. Sammie has experienced several changes and transitions in her life, and she’s looking for the stability and security of a permanent forever home. She can occasionally have accidents in the house, which we believe is related to inconsistency in her routine and sometimes feeling a little jealous when attention is divided among multiple dogs. With a predictable schedule, patience, and lots of love, Sammie has great potential to continue improving. Despite her past challenges, Sammie remains incredibly sweet, loving, and eager to bond with her person. She is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her forever. Adoption is $300 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Guthrie is the sweetest little guy.  He’s extremely laid back except for mealtimes and when he’s on squirrel patrol.  We don’t know his history, only that when he  arrived at a local pound he was in pretty rough shape.  He was so badly matted that he had to be anesthetized to get shaved down.  It’s obvious that he did not have the best life before that, but that’s all changed for him now.   Our little Guthrie struggled with being in a cage while his foster mom was away.  He finally grew to tolerate it, but would be stressful for him. So she decided to stop crating him and see how he did.  He is doing much better, but he may appreciate a canine sibling or two so he knows he’s not completely alone when his humans aren’t at home.  He also wears a belly band when he’s left unattended during the day, as he may mark occasionally.  We don’t know if it’s an stress-response, a territory thing, ot just a bad habit he developed before he came into our care.  It’s just hard to know for sure.     Guthrie is a really good boy and really, really deserves a better life than he’s undoubtedly had in the past.  He’s smart.  When he understands what you want him to do, he will try his best to do it.  He’s very food-motivated, which is a huge plus for training!  And if you haven’t already noticed, he’s also very cute!   Want a cuddle buddy when you’re on the couch watching TV?  Guthrie’s your guy!  It’s his favorite pastime.
