Let me introduce you to Xylia!
Xylia, affectionately known around the house as Xy-Xy or Princess Xy, is a 4-year-old, 14lbs Bichon Frise who is looking for the perfect forever home! Xylia had a rough start to life, but she is already proving she is determined to make a better living for herself!
Xylia is as sweet as they come. She loves nothing more than a day of cuddles, kisses, and pets. While she is a bit shy and skittish at first, when she is comfortable with you, she won’t leave your side. Xylia is a loyal companion with a lot of love, and a pinch of spunk! Xylia is learning to play in her foster home and she loves to play with the other dogs in the house and the humans. She loves to zoom around the house when it’s playtime (and she’ll let you know she’s playing because she’ll want kisses when she’s done!). Xylia’s timid nature does require some patience at first, but after a bit of time, she’ll be a sweet and happy dog!
Xylia is crate trained and does pretty well in a crate. She is not leash trained and she is not potty trained. She will do best in a home with a fenced in yard. Xylia is good with cats, humans, and small dogs. She is familiar with the neighborhood kids at her foster home, and she will happily let them pet her, but she is still a little shy and skittish around them. Xylia is fostered with bigger dogs and she is familiar with big dogs, but a higher energy bigger dog easily intimidates her, so for now, she is really only enjoying the company of other small dogs and cats. She enjoys playing with her foster siblings and has even snuggled in a dog bed with them! She is a super lovable girl who is learning how to be a dog for the first time in her life. Princess Xy is making great progress!

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
