Story
Meet Beautiful Beau, a 10-month-old bundle of joy with one striking blue eye and the other a rich brown. This fluffy little guy is bursting with puppy energy, an enormous heart, and a lively spirit that’s impossible to resist. He adores playing with his foster brother, Jasper, and though his Bichon stubbornness sometimes shines through, his eagerness to please makes him an absolute delight.
**Please note Beau's requirements below before submitting an application**
Beau’s favorite pastimes? Long walks, running (agility training, anyone?), and romping around the dog park. He’s a regular at doggie daycare, spending Saturdays playing and making new friends. From the moment he arrived in foster care, he fit right in with his Bichon-mix foster siblings. **In fact, Beau is going to need a small young very playful dog already living in the forever home that’s chosen for him**.
He also enjoys soaking up the sun on the back porch, perching on the couch to watch the world go by, and, of course, playing with his beloved toys—especially a good tug-of-war session with Jasper. But fair warning: Beau won’t give up his toys easily unless you have a tempting treat to trade. Thankfully, he’s very treat motivated, which makes training a breeze!
Speaking of training, Beau seems to be housetrained at least he is here in his foster home. In the short time he’s been with his foster family, he’s had no accidents or marking behavior.
Beau attended some puppy training classes and had mastered commands like Sit, Down, Treat, and Good Boy! He’s still working on Give/Drop and Stay, though Wait seems to have clicked. With his love of treats and eagerness to learn, further training should be smooth sailing.
*It is unknown how he reacts to cats so a home without cats is required*.
As already mentioned, **Beau needs a small playful young dog already living in the forever home chosen for him. He’ll need a fenced yard. Also, children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. **There are no exceptions to these things**. These requirements help ensure that Beau adjusts well and thrives in his new environment.
Beau is currently being fostered in North Carolina, waiting for the perfect family to welcome him into their hearts.
Could your home be his forever?
