Elf is living up to his name! He’s a joyful little blast of cuteness! He loves to run, jump, climb and explore and your attention! Then when he has had his fill, he can easily lay down and relax close to his person for a snooze. He makes the cutest little grunt noises when he’s happy, and snores a tiny piglet snore when asleep! He seems to be living his best life every day from his happy tip tap toes dance he does when it’s meal time, to throwing his toys in the air to catch them for himself, to sleeping on his back with all four legs up, he’s an adorable teddy bear of a dog who will make you laugh and give you lots of love! He came in as a stray of the city and was injured by what is assumed was a dog attack. He can bark, whine and pull when bigger dogs are barking at him. He's approximately 2 years old and he has puppy behaviors that he is quickly learning aren’t polite, like stealing foster mom's shoes for a little nibble! However, he has shown he is incredibly trainable and will do just about anything for a treat! 100% housebroken in his foster home, can be crated when doing errands, and is becoming a great leash walker. He is a silly goofball that likes to be held like a baby and takes his toys outside to potty with him. If you’re looking for a fetch partner, trail walker, and snuggle buddy companion, Elf is ready for his forever home! Elf will require a home with a small, young, friendly resident dog already in place. Children in the home must be at least 10 years old. These requirements are not flexible, as they are essential to ensuring that Elf transitions safely, adjusts successfully, and thrives in his new environment. Bear shows his excitement by running playful circles and enjoys fetching toys, sometimes dashing back and forth indoors to entertain himself and his people. Bear is progressing with his housetraining. He responds well to positive reinforcement, especially praise and treats, and will continue to thrive with consistency and encouragement. His treat‑motivated nature makes him a willing learner. Bear is a loving boy, likes to sit on a lap, and be close to his particular person. He’s very friendly! He likes to go for rides. When walking on a leash, he does well but likes to sniff everything. Linus knows his basic commands - - no and sit. He is friendly and kind to human visitors. Meet Buddy, a delightful 5-year-old Bichon Frise ready to bring sparkle and fluff into your life! At 22 pounds, Buddy is an above-average sized Bichon, meaning there's just more of him to love! He is a sweet adult who thrives on affection. He’s a little reserved at first, preferring slow introductions, but once he decides you're worthy, he offers abundant love and is eager to please. He gets along with other dogs in the house just fine but isn't much of a player; he is happy to coexist peacefully and save all his playfulness for his human friends. We are currently working hard on house training. Buddy is making great progress with a consistent routine but needs a patient family to help him master this skill. He would be happiest in a home where someone is present much of the time to offer consistency and companionship.
