hi Sky, this tiny lady is a 6 year old Bichon. She was surrendered to us with two other dogs when she was considered no longer useful as a breeder momma. She is 13.5 lbs. Sky and her friends are all sweet but timid. She allows us all handling and seems to enjoy sitting on our laps, but can still be nervous. She is the braves of the three bichons though. She is hoping for a patient and loving home that will help her break out of her shell. Having a social and friendly dog at home would be of a great benefit. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also had a dental. River is a tiny 6-year-old Bichon weighing about 13 pounds. She was surrendered to us along with two other dogs when she was considered no longer useful as a breeder momma. River and her friends are all sweet but timid. She allows handling and seems to enjoy sitting on laps, but at first, she tends to sit frozen and shaking a bit. River has shown a little more confidence than her friends, and with much love and patience, she is improving every day and slowly finding her courage and confidence. She is hoping for a patient and loving home that will help her continue to blossom. Having a social and friendly dog at home would be a great benefit to her progress. hi Tianna, this good girl is a 7 1/2 year old Bichon. She was surrendered to us with a few other dogs from a commercial breeder in Lancaster when she was no longer wanted. She is approx.. 12 lbs. Tianna is a sweetie. She is on the shy side but enjoys spending time with other dogs in small dog play-groups. She also will wag her tail and come up to our volunteers for some loving. You can see how much she wants to interact with the volunteers and she is just working up her courage to be at ease while doing it. She will give kisses to those she is comfortable with. She is a doll! She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also had a dental. Viola is a delicate little Bichon weighing just 9 pounds and not quite 4 years old. She was rescued from a puppy mill, and her life before rescue left her terrified and unsure of the world. When she first arrived, she clung to our volunteers, doing her best to hide and protect herself. Despite her fear, Viola is incredibly gentle, so gentle, and she allows handling without issue. She simply needs time, patience, and love to help her come out of her shell and discover that life can be safe and full of kindness. Viola is looking for a calm, quiet, and patient home where she can feel secure. She would truly benefit from having a social and friendly dog in the home to guide her and help her gain confidence as she transitions into her new life. Patsy(wearing red or pink sweater) is a sweet 5 year old Bichon Frise weighing 15 lbs. She is a retired breeder dog who is learning life outside a kennel. She is doing very well with housetraining. Patsy likes the other dogs in her foster home and is very submissive. She will need a secure fenced yard and another gentle dog to learn from. She can be skittish of loud noises and chaos. Patsy is shy with people and takes a while to warm up. She seems to do better with women.  She sits in her safe zone which is her dog bed and observes.  She loves to cuddle but won't seek it out.  She craves love and will give little kisses when being held.  A quiet home with another small dog would be her best fit. She seems more secure with another dog and seeks them out to cuddle with. She is doing great on a leash and has learned she can do steps. Patsy is now spayed, had a dental cleaning, is up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. He is a phenomenal guy as long as nothing of high value such as bones or long lasting chews are involved and he is crated while humans eat. If those two rules are followed, he is PERFECT! Snoopy is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and does well with other small dogs. He is great for grooming but does get squirmy for the water part. He is great for vet visits unless blood needs drawn, then he needs some sedative medication beforehand or he flails like a helicopter. Snoopy is great at giving clear signs of being unsure during his settle in time to a new environment and if you follow his ques, he will be your vest friends, and allow all handling in a weeks time.
