Story
Willow Rose is an 8-year-old, 11.5-pound Shih Tzu with a personality just as beautiful as her name. Although she cannot see the world around her, she has mastered the art of being calm, gentle, and quietly present. Her favorite pastime is snoozing the day away or curling up right beside her person on the sofa while they work. Willow is blind, and that means she needs an adopter who understands that learning a new home’s layout will take time, maybe even months. Accidents will happen until she gets her bearings, and even then she may miss the mark on occasion. If you can be patient with her, she will reward you with endless quiet companionship. She gets along well with other dogs, doesn’t try to leap off furniture since she is smart enough to know her limits, and is as low-maintenance as they come. Willow isn’t perfect; she would prefer you keep the fancy rugs rolled up, and she is not a fan of grass, but she is perfect for someone who values peace, gentleness, and the unconditional love of a little dog who just wants to be by your side. If you have the patience to help Willow navigate her world, you will discover a loyal, easygoing companion who will make your house feel like home. Story
Little Buddy was found on the streets with no chip or tags. He is a sweet boy that just wants some love and a soft comfy bed to nap it! He is about 12 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He is great with other dogs but doesn't really interact with them. He would be fine with or without other dogs. He would prefer a quiet home without a lot of activity. He is neutered, up to date on shots, hw negative, microchipped and just had dental with extractions. Adoption fee is:$150 Adoption fees are variable. Story
Jackaroo is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu weighing 14 pounds. He came to Camo Rescue alongside two other Shih Tzus after his original family was unfortunately deported. Through all the change, Jackaroo has shown just how resilient he is—he’s adjusted beautifully to rescue life and is now ready to find a loving forever home of his own. Jackaroo is currently working on his potty training and leash training and is doing wonderfully with both. He will continue to thrive with consistency and will benefit from learning and settling into his new family’s routine. He gets along well with dogs of a similar size but does have a slightly dominant personality. Jackaroo would do best with submissive dogs, as he responds very well to correction and easily leaves other dogs alone when redirected. He could also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. Jackaroo has a fun, playful side and loves spending time with people in the yard. Whether he’s hanging out soaking up attention or running around exploring his surroundings, he enjoys being part of the action. Jackaroo would do well in a home with children or adults only, and he’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of personality to his forever family. Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Someone threw a dogs over our fence and got the girl dog pregnant she gave birth to 8. We found home for 6 and have struggled finding a home for 2 more. We already have 8 dogs of our own. They are now potty trained and come with kennels. Please help i do not know the breed either.
