Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Brooks! Brooks and his friend were found by a kind-hearted person and brought to us when no owner could be located. We did our best to find where they belonged, but unfortunately no one ever came forward to claim them.  Brooks is a sweet, friendly boy who loves being close to his people. If you're looking for a lap dog, Brooks is happy to apply for the job. He enjoys attention, affection, and spending time with his family. He gets along with other dogs and is generally friendly with other pets, but can be bossy and try to be intimidating. Brooks can be a little resource protective at times with other dogs, too. Otherwise he does well and currently is rooming with 3 other dogs.  His adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, a negative 4DX test, and he is current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. If you'd like to make Brooks part of your family, please apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Brooks is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 6, 2026, 9:47 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi… I’m Ned. Have you ever wanted a Golden Doodle, but smaller? I look just that! Please read my bio thoroughly. Only available for adoption in Texas. I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a really soft heart. I came here with a few of my companions through a transfer, and I’ll be honest—I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. It takes me a little time to trust new people. At first, I might hang back and just watch. I need someone very patient who will let me go at my own pace and not rush me. I need someone who can understand it may take a long time for me to become comfortable around humans, as I have had a rough beginning to life. I will try to run away from you. But I am not aggressive, or have ever tried to bite.  With me being scared, I need you to understand that I will need patience with going outside. I will try to run away, so keep me on a harness until I learn coming back inside on my own is okay. I do feel more confident around other dogs, so a home with another canine is a must. They can help show me that life isn't so bad. I am unsure how I do with cats. Older considerate kids only.  Due to my breed, I’ll also need regular grooming, but I’ve been very good for it here. I actually don't mind getting groomed. I find it very relaxing. I am heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines and prevention, and microchipped, so I’m ready when the right person comes along. My adoption fee is $300. If you think you might be my person, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to me being scared and nervous, I am not an option for out-of-state transport, and must remain in Texas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 6, 2026, 9:47 am

Story
"Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!" Laverne and Shirley may share the names of the famous TV duo, but these sweet 2-year-old Maltipoo girls are looking for a much quieter adventure these days. This bonded pair believes life is simply better together and they're ready to make their dreams come true with a loving family of their own. Laverne and Shirley thrive in a peaceful, low-energy environment where they can enjoy cozy naps, gentle routines, and relaxing time with their people. A quiet home with a securely fenced yard would be their idea of television-worthy perfection. They get along nicely with the small dog in their foster home and would be happy to share their new home with another calm, friendly little companion. When they arrived in rescue, these girls were in very poor condition, but thanks to lots of care and love, they are now healthy, happy, and ready for their happy ending together. As Maltipoos, they will need regular grooming appointments to keep them looking ready for their close-up. After all, some things are just meant to stay together — and Laverne and Shirley are one of them. Their adoption fee as a bonded pair is $600.
