Story
!Available for Adoption!  Adonis now Valkyrie was adopted in 2021 and is an amazing dog.  The reason for return is due to her not tolerating their toddler most likely due to age. Valkyrie is a lovable canine companion who has a unique personality that unfolds beautifully once she warms up to those around her. Initially reserved and cautious, she tends to take her time to assess new people and situations. However, once trust is established, Valkyrie becomes a true sweetheart. She delights in cuddles and enjoys cozying up in her warm dog bed, often seeking comfort in the presence of her human family. While she might not always display her goofy nature outwardly, those who know her well understand that beneath her calm exterior lies a playful side. She is very well behaved, including manners like sit stay & come. We know she would make the perfect companion!  She is UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, Microchipped, crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, good with older kids (not toddlers), cats (with slow introduction! and all dogs.  Private message if interested! ##1070934##

Story
Hi there! My name is Gordo, and I have a tail-wagging tale to share with you! Once upon a time, I found myself in a noisy, scary place called the pound in Yuma. It was a bit overwhelming for a little pup like me, but the kind people there took good care of me. Then, something magical happened! They arranged for me to take a long ride all the way to Phoenix, where the wonderful folks at Central Arizona Animal Rescue welcomed me with open arms. They even made sure I got neutered and microchipped, so I’m all set and ready for my new adventure! I’m just a baby, around 3-4 months old, and I’m eager to learn all sorts of new tricks. House training? No problem! I’m a quick learner and ready to impress. I love playing and wrestling with the other pups here at the rescue. I haven’t met a cat yet, but I’m young and open to making new friends, even if they’re a bit different from me. Now, I’m on a quest to find my forever home. I’m a sweet, playful, and loving puppy, but I can be a little shy around strangers. My past has made me cautious, but I’m ready to leave those memories behind and build trust with a new family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your days with joy and laughter, I’m the perfect pup for you. So, what do you say? Are you ready to embark on this adventure with me? Let’s create a lifetime of happy memories together! Come meet me at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. To set up an appointment to meet me just e-mail mike@caaronline.org and ask for Gordo! If you are unable to adopt me, please share my video to help me find my forever home. For the other dogs available for adoption or to make a donation to help us, visit www.caaronline.org. Story
Adopted from a shelter in Flagstaff, Arizona and he originally came from a reservation up there. I have had him since he was 3 months old, he is now 1.5. He is incredibly smart and is potty trained, crate trained, knows sit, off, lay down, and gimme paw. Unfortunately he needs so much more play time, living space, and training than I can provide for him. He is currently living in a small apartment with me and I have received multiple noise complaints due to his barking when I am gone. We have moved multiple times and Ive gotten a job with longer hours. I think all of this change + lack of consistent and long exercise has caused him to have anxiety and some behavioral issues. He is leash reactive to humans and other dogs but has lived with 2 other dogs and a cat who he got along great with. Hes capable of being an amazing and smart companion but really deserves to live a more active lifestyle + leash training which I think would help so much with the behavior and separation anxiety.
