Story
Adopted from a shelter in Flagstaff, Arizona and he originally came from a reservation up there. I have had him since he was 3 months old, he is now 1.5. He is incredibly smart and is potty trained, crate trained, knows sit, off, lay down, and gimme paw. Unfortunately he needs so much more play time, living space, and training than I can provide for him. He is currently living in a small apartment with me and I have received multiple noise complaints due to his barking when I am gone. We have moved multiple times and Ive gotten a job with longer hours. I think all of this change + lack of consistent and long exercise has caused him to have anxiety and some behavioral issues. He is leash reactive to humans and other dogs but has lived with 2 other dogs and a cat who he got along great with. Hes capable of being an amazing and smart companion but really deserves to live a more active lifestyle + leash training which I think would help so much with the behavior and separation anxiety.

Story
The day we saw Minnie’s intake picture at our county shelter, our jaws dropped. The neglect of her body was not something that happened over a month or two; it was several months to a year. We immediately pulled her and put her in a foster home. We quickly learned right away that Minnie loves food! She was receiving small home cooked meals and would gobble them up. After extensive blood work and several different tests were run, we learned that Minnie was actually unable to absorb nutrients from her food and they was passing straight through her. This is a chronic, lifelong pancreatic deficiency but is easily solved with enzymes added to her food at each meal. On her new supplements, Minnie is THRIVING. She has gained 10 pounds of healthy weight with this life saving medication! Minnie craves love. She enjoys being around people either cuddling on the couch, chasing toys or going on walks. During the day, Minnie would be a great co-worker. She is respectful of her space and home, but she is not afraid to speak up when she needs you. She prefers to be around dogs that don’t need to constantly be playing and move slower, and she is good with cats. We would love to see her in a forever home where she can continue to get the emotional and medical support that she needs and deserves. Minnie's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, spay, vaccines and microchip. This little mouse is sure to make you smile all day every day! Story
!Available for Adoption!  Adonis now Valkyrie was adopted in 2021 and is an amazing dog.  The reason for return is due to her not tolerating their toddler most likely due to age. Valkyrie is a lovable canine companion who has a unique personality that unfolds beautifully once she warms up to those around her. Initially reserved and cautious, she tends to take her time to assess new people and situations. However, once trust is established, Valkyrie becomes a true sweetheart. She delights in cuddles and enjoys cozying up in her warm dog bed, often seeking comfort in the presence of her human family. While she might not always display her goofy nature outwardly, those who know her well understand that beneath her calm exterior lies a playful side. She is very well behaved, including manners like sit stay & come. We know she would make the perfect companion!  She is UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, Microchipped, crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, good with older kids (not toddlers), cats (with slow introduction! and all dogs.  Private message if interested! ##1070934##
