Oh my, aren't I Handsome? With my adorable one ear up. This gorgeous guy needs a foster OR forever home! Thor has been let down by humans enough times in his short life, that he has gotten used to depending on only himself. Don’t get us wrong, Thor has been a golden-eyed gentleman here at our rescue! But Thor has shown that he is also an adult dog, who can entertain himself with a rope or well-timed ball toss. Thor has co-existed around other dogs in the play yard, but prefers to spend his time playing by himself. Just look at him playing catch with himself! So smart! Thor knows how to Sit, Shake, and Lay Down for a treat and sleeps in his kennel every night! . We have been told Thor once lived with a 6 year old child, but became very protective of all toys in the home. We are requiring that all humans living with Thor are 15+ at this time. Thor has spent months in our facility waiting for a home of his own to settle into a routine with. Frito is a sweet, loving, high energy dog. He was adopted from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter in November 2023, he was in foster care. Frito is approximately 2 years old. He is very smart, friendly, loves to play and rough house. He likes dog parks and being with other dogs. He is good with small dogs but he is better with dogs his size to play with. He is strong, and tends to pull a little when walking. He can be focused and chase things like small animals, i.e. squirrels and cats. He likes his dog door and spends quite a bit of time in the backyard. Frito needs an owner that is active and outdoorsy; one with who has time and patience to take Frito on runs and/or walks. Someone to play with him and love him. He would be good if he has a buddy to play with. He loves playing ball, tugging the rope, and running. He sometimes steals food from the counters, he can be hard to distract if he spots something he wants to chase, and does get anxious in car rides.

We adopted Theia as a pup for our youngest. She's a sweet, cuddly, fluffy girl who loves to Hike! She walks right there with you, she doesn't pull you and can go far. She was raised with our other pup cha cha who is not doing well. She is sweet with other dogs and a perfect guard dog. She has a big bark, but can be a scardy cat. She can read peoples energy and needs to earn trust. Unfortunately, our family is in the middle of a divorce and our homes and time availability no longer serve this beautiful girl. Our son's are heartbroken for this transition and we are looking for a soft place for her to land.
