Story

Lily has been with me since 1/2025, she was a foster through my local animal control center. She was picked up as a stray with a litter of puppies 11/2024. She has had some trauma (or so it seems to me given her behavior), but she has responded well to love and consistency. She is well behaved, housebroken, crate trained (she LOVES her crate), has a very gentle mouth (I would let my 2 year old nephew give her treats), knows sit and down (sometimes). She is definitely submissive, and can be defensive, but I’ve never seen her be aggressive. She talks a lot of ****, but isn’t as scary as she sounds. She barks when she meets someone new in her home (not at parks), but her tail and butt are always wagging at the same time and she is quickly won over with treats and love. She had a German Shepherd sister in AZ who she absolutely loved. She is much more confident when she has a dog to follow. She has only ever lived with children over 14, but does well with them. She loves cats.
