Marzipan is a wonderful young girl! Friendly with and has been exposed to: kids, other dogs big & small, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, and more. :) She thrives on praise and physical attention, and does well even with younger kids doing training. She is a dog who enjoys being close to her people, and snuggling. Marzipan is quite well behaved, has had leash training, and follows directions well - she will make a wonderful addition to the family, and would do great as an adventure companion as well!

Story

Lana is a Black Mouth Cur, a possible mix but unknown. We adopted her a year ago from a rescue, she was rescued from a shelter with her siblings. She is a wonderful young dog with a quiet and sweet disposition, she rarely ever barks; only if someone is at the door she doesn't know. Quite submissive. She enjoys long walks/hikes, areas to run, lounging in the sun, and playing with dog friends at doggie daycare. She is content with lounging during the day until her next walk. She has trained a bit to be off-leash. She knows some basic commands. She is wonderful with kids (we have a toddler and 8 year old she is very careful with). She is a large dog at 65 lbs and would do best with a large yard or access to a place for daily exercise.

Kobe is such a great social dog that loves everyone he meets. He’ll walk up to a new person and lay at their feet so they can give him a belly rub. He knows sit and also comes when you call his name. He’s a huge cuddler and also thinks he’s a lap dog. He will put his full upper body on his foster dads lap when he’s sitting down at his desk doing work. He let’s you know when it’s time to to go outside and he enjoys his walks. We think he’d be ok with another large playful dog in the house. He gets excited when he sees other dogs and wants to jump on them to play. Herc (Hercules) is a wonderful spry Senior pup in our fold here at Freedom Rescue. He is a Big Boy, but so loving and gentle. He loves nothing more than to sit with you for some loving, take nice walks, go camping with you, or whatever you like to do. You would never guess this boys age, as he acts like a 3-5 year old pup! He loves people, has been around cats, chickens, livestock and other dogs. He was attacked by 2 dogs at one point, facilitating his move to a senior resident, who unfortunately could no longer keep him in her very small place. He is a true love bug, adjusts to new situations well, and truly is just a true love bug. Won't you open your home to this wonderful dog?
