Joe is a stunning 8 year old black mouth cur mix that is ready to find his forever family❤️ Sweet Joe has a strong desire to be near his people, always. He’s a cuddle bug and loves being where his family is! He is good at being a companion dog, he plays well with puppies & is a protector of his people! He will bark when strangers come to the door but once he knows they’re cool, he will be their new best friend🐾 This handsome boy can be an adventure pup or a couch potato. He loves to go for hikes and runs, but he is also happy cuddling up on a couch with his humans! He likes other dogs, but prefers pup friends with laid-back personalities so he can be the “big dog in the house,” or he would be okay as an only dog! 🐶 Joe has a strong case of FOMO, so he always wants to know what you are doing and where you are going. He likes to follow his people around the house and get into the things they are getting into. He really just wants to be near his humans & doing whatever they’re doing.❤️ Joe needs an adult-only household, or one with older children. Poor buddy is scared of little kids and deserves a home where he doesn’t have to be separated from little ones, and can roam his home as he pleases. He is kennel trained, but doesn’t need to be kept in one because he isn’t destructive & he is house trained! Joe is a good boy that deserves a soft place to land after his family dynamic has changed. adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs Age 8 months dob. 1/10/25 Jade is an adorable mixed breed pup who seems to be some kind of black mouth cur mix. . She is a gentle and sweet and loving girl who is just a delight. Jade and her sisters Josie and Journey were part of a group of puppies that were sadly being given away for free at a local Walmart in Mississippi. The woman who runs the rescue Wags of Monroe County couldn’t bear to see these puppies going to people with no vetting and so she scooped up the remaining three girls. Since then, the puppies have thrived, they love to run and play with all the dogs at the rescue and then cuddle up together in a puppy pile to nap. They have all been spayed and have their vaccinations and are all healthy happy girls. Jaden and her sisters are still in Mississippi, but ready to come up to the northeast in mid October on the transport truck that leaves every Friday from Tupelo. We know these girls will all make wonderful family dogs, but are fine to consider a foster to adopt. Jade is such a gentle, calm girl, we know she will be a loving member of the family. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! She wants to be loved and give love in return. Layne lives with other dogs, kids and a baby. She is a sweetheart and a quiet girl—she is the only dog in the house who does not bark at the mailman! Layne loves to run in the yard and watch the birds fly by so a fenced yard is preferred. She adores loves playing fetch and treat time. She loves romping around the yard with her four-legged foster brothers and would love a canine companion! Layne does well with senior dogs as well. Apollo looks more black mouth cur, while Zeus is more lab looking. Both boys are extremely handsome! They are good with other dogs, and very affectionate, Apollo is more forward in his approach and more confident whilst Zeus stands back for a minute and watches before putting himself forward. He’s a little more reserved but does warm up quite quickly. They play together as brothers do, all noise and no real action. They are very fond of each other but not bonded. To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Goldie is a 6yo female black mouth cur mix who was surrendered by her owner in Memphis who moved and couldn’t take her. Sweet, gentle, well socialized. Fine with cats, lived around barn cats for years at her previous home. Great with other dogs, lived for years with a Yorkie and enjoys playing with the neighbors 3 Aussies. Good with kids and interacts gently with her owner’s 9 young grandchildren. Housebroken but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. Low maintenance, good house manners. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Loves to be with her people. Estimated DOB is Dec 2019. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 80 pounds. Sweet dog will make a wonderful companion for a family who loves the breed.
