My name is Rock - I am super cool so I can totally 'rock' that name. I am a 48 lb 9 to 10 month old teenager. I am a black mouth cur mix with some hefty ears. I could have also some boxer, shepherd and/or terrier among my breed mix. I went to my foster home underweight and with a bit of mange; I was thrown out and thank goodness my foster mom came to my rescue. I have filled out and my skin has cleared up so nicely. I am active and ready to go wherever my humans will take me. I walk well on leash (I am a strong young guy though) and I know basic commands. I am definitely the type of dog that is eager to learn. I am also eager to swim! I have many dog friends in my home and if one gets tired of playing, I move on to the next! Kids 10+ and we aren't sure on cats but have a hunch I might be a little too much for them! How can I still be adoptable... still?!! My name is Alonzo. I am about 2.5 years old and 60 lbs. I am a mix of Black Mouth Cur, maybe some Lab and a few other things. I am a very very cool dog. Here are the cool things about me: 1) I love all people and have been friendly with men women and kids! I even hung out with a 4 year old and did great. I knew my boundaries and was very interested in hanging out with him. 2) I am good with other dogs. I live with three others - all different genders and ages. 3) I am housebroken and I am crate-trained. I don't love the crate but I have been doing well left alone when my foster people are gone! 4) I am active and walk well on leash. I love going on walks! I would be a great jogger (if trained) and hiker. I am not dog reactive. 5) I like the baby pool so who knows - I could even like swimming in open water which would be fun.
