Story
Lulu's says meet JUNE, a gorgeous 48lb, 4 year old Hound mix. June is a super affectionate girl that enjoys being with her people.  June is blossoming into the dog she was always meant to be.  June is that girlfriend that only has eyes for you and no one else exists. She doesn’t care if it is a night in with a double feature on Netflix or if you want to take a walk in the woods, she is right by your side and wants to go everywhere with you and share all of your experiences. She has recently discovered toys, and especially likes balls or rope toys.  While she still needs to learn the finer points of playing fetch, such as, after you fetch the ball, you aren’t supposed to sprint past the thrower to take it back to the house.  But she is a quick learner and would love to be with someone who is willing to be patient with her, to give her new positive experiences.  June would like to be your one and only dog, and only animal so that she can have all the attention.  She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly.  Her personality is happy, fun loving, affectionate and sweet.  She likes to talk and discuss what is on her mind but is also just as happy be quietly napping near you while you wash the dishes. JUNE is spayed and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.  Her adoption fee is $425.00.  Please note that training is highly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.  If interested in adopting JUNE, visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and learn about Lulu’s adoption process.  Thanks for adopting and saving a life! You are JUNE's hero!September 22, 2024, 7:22 pm

Story
~ Caspian is about 56lbs, and 12 years old (but you'd never know it). We think he's a black mouth cur mix. He's up for cuddle time or play time whenever you are. He's a sweet boy  who is easy to get along with loves  everyone and affection.  He may be a senior but he doesn't seem to know it.  He loves his walks and running in the yard, loves to snuggle and take long naps too.  He would do best in a home without small children. He is fine with cats, and he's crate trained, house broken, and neutered.  Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com to find out if Caspian is the right one for you! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US!  We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php and http://www.hollysden.com/say_no_to_shock.htm (scroll down and click on the  "Invisible Fencing Systems" link). We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 9:03 pm

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 18 lbs Age: 3 months  as of 8/25   Meet our adorable Andy Griffith puppies—Andy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Helen and Aunt Bea—these are adorable, sweet and gentle puppies that were found as strays in a rural town outside of Tupelo Mississippi. W.A.G.S. took them in and the two boys and three girls have thrived, spending their days romping and playing together and then snuggling in a great big puppy pile to nap.   The puppies are all fully vaccinated and available to travel from Mississippi to loving homes the weekend after Labor Day.   Andy was a little shy at first, but has come out of his shell, now he is just as friendly and active as his sister. He loves toys and bones and get along great with all the dogs at the rescue. Andy is doing well potty training but will need additional guidance while he adjusts to a new home. Like any puppy Andy needs a family dedicated to giving him the structure and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be.      Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Available 4/7/2024 Originated fromAllmons All About Animals DL# 17277Blackshear GA 31516 5/23/24 Gabby has made amazing strides during the month in her foster home. She has made it to the first floor and is getting more comfortable with her foster Dad (although she is just now slowly warming up to him with tail wags and kisses). Gabby loves her foster Mom best, and enjoys pets, belly rubs, and hugs. She has two times when she has extra energy for zoomies with the resident dog - after breakfast and before bedtime. She prefers to hang out in her crate, and is not a couch-loving lap dog. She does sleep in her crate at night and stays peacefully in her crate when her foster family goes to work and school. She is a sweetie, and will give you her paw to hold and will tell you she loves you by "petting" your arm and giving kisses. She gets very excited about meals, breakfast especially, and will do 360 spins and hop all over to celebrate. She is still very apprehensive of loud noises and sudden movement, so this will be something to be mindful of. Gabby would do best in a home with an easy-going, friendly dog to play and run around with. She loves the resident cat and wants to be friends with her, even if the cat doesn't feel the same way. In terms of her ideal people - a house with a single woman or mostly female household is in her best interest due to her fear of men. Otherwise, the men in the house will have to be patient and understanding of her fear and give her space and time to understand they're her friend. If you need a friend in your life who you can adore - and who will adore you back - Gabby's your girl! Gabby is a 2 year old Brindle beauty of a mutt that originally came from Georgia. She's short and squat and sweet as can be. Gabby is taking time to adjust to her new surroundings and is very hesitant of her new digs. She's currently decided that her foster parents' bedroom on the 2nd floor is a good place to chill, and is just beginning to get comfortable hanging out on the 1st floor. Her foster family is going to be working diligently on helping her get adjusted to home life. She is fearful of men and as a result is very cautious around them. Whoever decides to make Gabby their forever friend will need to be patient and dedicated in continuing her training. She will reward your efforts with her attention and lots of sniffs. There's no dog quite like our gorgeous Gabby! If you're interested in meeting Gabby, please fill out an application with Wags today. Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.

Story
N*Sync is making a comeback! Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass will dance their way into your hearts and homes – these 2 boys are the last remaining standing of the band. These boys can just look at you and make you want to melt. Born on June 8, 2024 – our boy band used to be a band of 7. They were born under a home, but the owner decided they didn’t want anything to do with them, so they refused them food and water, and 2 ended up passing of dehydration. Unfortunately, our laws just do not protect animals, so when we heard of the situation, we immediately took the puppies into our care. Mom and dad are unknown. Thanks to groceries, water, and love, they are now thriving and ready to find their forever families. They cannot get enough of being around you. When you’re walking through the house, these pups are right on your heels, following you and begging to be picked up. Despite what their previous humans did to them, they absolutely love human attention and affection. They will follow you around unti
