Story
I rescued Hera from a shelter at the beginning of the pandemic. She had been dumped pregnant by her previous owner and miscarried her litter, so she was very skittish when I met her. Over the last four years she’s transformed into a loving, playful, snuggly pup who loves treats and walks. She’s leashed trained, completely housebroken, doesn’t chew, and can be left alone without worry. I’d keep her forever but due to a recent tragedy, I no longer have a safe place to house her. She deserves a loving forever home, and deserves better than what I can give her now.

His well-trained demeanor is a testament to his eagerness to please. Tinka's love for other dogs is boundless; he's a playful companion who brings out the best in his four-legged friends. With a gentle introduction, he can even get along famously with cats, showing his adaptable nature. But what truly sets Tinka apart is his affection for children. He adores kids and is their loyal and patient friend, always ready to share his love and wagging tail. His good heart shines through in every interaction, making him the perfect addition to any family seeking a smart, sweet, and loving companion. Tinka was with the rescue as a puppy (see cute puppy pic) and was returned after found on the streets of SA :( But he is an amazing boy, had some special obedience training with his previous family and now he can be YOUR new family member!!! We, four little adorable scared and skinny and covered in fleas pups, were walking down the street EARLY one morning.......... And LOTS of people passed us there , EXCEPT a wonderful woman, who just happens to be related to a VIP in the rescue :) (ok, we would have been saved either way but having a VIP in the rescue did help this time.....) So, now we are the COUNTRY ROAD PUPPIES. Tanya, Waylon, George and Willie we are named after some prolific artists, who started their careers out in the backroad bars and honky tonks and now are living their DREAMS!! We are ready for OUR dreams to come true!! ADOPT ONE of US and we WILL be your bestest crooners ever!
