Story
Kane is 9 years old. He was a rescue from Florida and I got him when he was a year old. I recently moved and no longer have a back yard for him to run in. I also work 10-12 hour days and due to my line of work I can’t come home on my lunch break to let him out. He is starting to have accidents while I’m gone. Kane is a good boy and very protective of his family. He knows basic commands, like sit and stay. He knows how to give both paws. He is a healthy boy with a decent amount of energy. He is weary of men but does adjust to them. I’d like to see him go to a home where some one is home throughout the day and he had space to run. I love this boy with my whole heart and making this decision to rehome him is heart breaking. I can no longer give him the life he deserves. He’s my sidekick

Hello there, I'm Daisy! I'm just a happy-go-lucky gal who loves to play. Toss a ball and watch me chase it with joy. I'm not just about fun and games though, I've got a sweet side too. I love nothing more than to curl up next to you, my head in your lap, while you read a book or watch TV. I'm a great listener, always there to lend an ear when you need it. I've got a heart full of love to give, and I'm hoping to find someone who will appreciate it. Why should you adopt me? Well, besides my playful spirit and sweet nature, I'm also incredibly loyal. I promise to be your best friend, your confidante, your ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Adopt me and let's make beautiful memories together.

Story
Joe is a stunning 8 year old black mouth cur mix that is ready to find his forever family❤️ Sweet Joe has a strong desire to be near his people, always. He’s a cuddle bug and loves being where his family is! He is good at being a companion dog, he plays well with puppies & is a protector of his people! He will bark when strangers come to the door but once he knows they’re cool, he will be their new best friend🐾 This handsome boy can be an adventure pup or a couch potato. He loves to go for hikes and runs, but he is also happy cuddling up on a couch with his humans! He likes other dogs, but prefers pup friends with laid-back personalities so he can be the “big dog in the house,” or he would be okay as an only dog! 🐶 Joe has a strong case of FOMO, so he always wants to know what you are doing and where you are going. He likes to follow his people around the house and get into the things they are getting into. He really just wants to be near his humans & doing whatever they’re doing.❤️ Joe needs an adult-only household, or one with older children. Poor buddy is scared of little kids and deserves a home where he doesn’t have to be separated from little ones, and can roam his home as he pleases. He is kennel trained, but doesn’t need to be kept in one because he isn’t destructive & he is house trained! Joe is a good boy that deserves a soft place to land after his family dynamic has changed. If you have an older, established household, please consider adding Joe to your family!🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
SAMMY IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!   Allow me to introduce you to Sammy! He is a charming Black Mouth Cur/Terrier mix who is about 1 year old. Sammy boasts a beautiful brown coat with the breed's signature black muzzle, giving him a striking appearance. His warm brown eyes are full of curiosity and intelligence, hinting at the quick learner he's proving to be. He's already mastering basic commands and shows a keen eagerness to please. True to his breed, Sammy is a fun loving guy with a heart of gold! He loves nothing more than playtime, whether it's romping in the yard, going for walks, or engaging in a lively game of tug-of-war. After playtime, he's equally content to curl up for cuddles. He is great with children and other dogs. He's leash trained, crate trained and fully house trained. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving addition to your family, Sammy would be your perfect match. This sweet boy is fully vetted and ready to bring endless love and excitement to his new family. He is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Story
Meet Tank, a charming boy with a heart full of love and a mind full of curiosity. He's got a sweet and friendly nature that makes him a joy to be around. Tank's goofy antics are sure to keep you entertained. His playful and fun-loving spirit is infectious, and he's always up for a walk in the woods or a romp in the park. Tank's combination of smarts, sweetness, and silliness make him a unique companion. Adopting Tank means opening your home to laughter, constant companionship, and unconditional love. He has had a rough time in life, living on the streets then being picked up by someone who kept him for a while only to decide she really didn't want another dog. She took him to the vet for euthanasia. Our vet had pity and decided to give Tank another chance. He was treated for heartworms, vaccinated and neutered while in their care. Please, give Tank a chance to show you just how special he is.

Story
Looking for an experienced dog lover to continue to nurture Mocha, who will turn 5 yrs in Oct, 2025. My work/life doesn’t allow me to be home as often. Mocha loves people and needs people around to love. She walks on a leash without pulling. No indoor accidents. Food motivated. Loves running for sticks & hikes. Good with our 2 cats. She can be reactive to other dogs-though with training can overcome this. She was adopted as a boxer but looks like a Black Mouth Cur. Loving, affectionate and senses when you need that extra emotional support but also enjoys a good walk. Shots are up-to-date. Please email if you have any questions. xxxx@xxxx.x
