Story
Hi everyone, my name is Chief and I am a young Redbone Coonhound mix.I am a large, goofy, happy go lucky puppy with big floppy ears! I am a veryhandsome boy and I am still growing! I just came to the rescue and they aretaking good care of me and helping me gain some weight. My friends at therescue are also helping me learn how to be a good boy. I get very excitedwhen I see someone and I try to get their attention so they come and get meout of my run. I love running and doing zoomies in the play yard. Once Iam done running I try to find a tennis ball to carry around in the yard as Iexplore. It's just so much fun hanging out with my new friends here. I amlearning to play fetch but haven't quite gotten the hang of it....yet. Thevolunteers are also teaching me how to walk on a leash. I am slowly gettingbetter at it and I promise to keep practicing to be perfect! The more treats Iget the harder I will try! Everyone at the rescue loves me and they tell methat one day someone special will come and take me home. Please telleveryone you know about me and help me find a forever family!

Story
Hello, I'm Donnie! I am a hound dog through and through, which means I have a big voice and am very intelligent. My breed is known for having a prey drive so I would not be suitable for a home with cats or other small animals. I do like other dogs and may be able to live with one, which could help me to release all my pent up energy. I am the type of dog that needs stimulation to focus my mind or else I can be wild. I need work on basic manners and housebreaking. I would love to find an active family and furever home where I can go for lots of adventures and be your new best friend! ---Our facility is open daily from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, meet and greet appointments are highly recommended. If you are interested in meeting an animal please contact us via email at Lancaster@pspca.org to learn more about our adoption process and to set a meet and greet appointment.

Story
Cupid is 1 year old and full of energy! She really needs a big fenced in yard to live her best life. She is crate trained and housebroken. She sleeps silently in her crate overnight. She is definitely a shoe thief, as you can see from her picture! She loves kids and anyone else who wants to romp around with her. She is always ready to play, play, play. She loves chewing on ice cubes and bones, rips apart any fluffy toys given to her....lol... She is a great pup, but we feel terrible that she has to spend so much time in her crate due to our very busy/hectic/unpredictable schedules 😞 Our small townhome doesn't have a yard and we know that is what she truly needs. 💔

Story
Ralph is a beautiful 6 year old redbone coonhound.    He *loves* playing at the dog park. He is a fundamentally kind and gentle dog.  He is house trained and crate trained. He needs some leash training, as most hounds do.  He's good with kids.  Not a jumper.  Not aggressive.  He would love a yard to explore.  Would make a great hiking partner.   Ralph loves to nap, too!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 1, 2023, 6:22 pm
