Story
Meet Violet Violet found herself in a scary shelter, giving birth to 10 puppies. One look into her eyes told us everything—we knew she needed to be saved. We quickly rescued Violet and her whole little family and brought them to LOLA's Rescue. Right now, Violet is undergoing treatment for heartworm. She’s not feeling her best—heartworm is no joke—and what she needs most is a calm, cozy home where she can rest, gain some weight, and finally decompress. Because she's still in treatment, she hasn’t met other dog friends yet—we’re letting her heal at her own pace. Violet is so deserving of a foster-to-adopt family that can love her through her recovery and into a healthy, happy life. If you’d like to meet Violet and be her safe place, please reach out to us at 303-343-1031. Let’s help this sweet mama find the peace and comfort she’s been waiting for. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com We are open by appointment only at this time. Please text 303-343-1031 or email Info@lolarescue.com to schedule an appointment. You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2274550##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hi, I am Simba! King of the house! I am proud to be a Plott Hound mix and the bestest boy ever! I love to cuddle with my people and play with my foster's other dogs. My best friend is my foster's husky, who is the same age as me! I am a bit shy meeting new people and ask that you give me patience and maybe some treats while I warm up. I get along with all dogs big and small. I have been around a cat and was curious but the cat didn’t want anything to do with me. I’m good with older kids. I am a bit stubborn but motivated with food. The crate/pin isn't my favorite, but I am okay as long as I have some toys to play with. I love balls and toys that make crunchy noises. I have minimal house accidents and am still working on commands. I like to sleep in the room with you and sometimes ask to sleep in the bed. I do love to cuddle on the couch while watching tv. I'm up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I'd love to meet you, apply today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming   ##1994431##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Introducing Lisa, the embodiment of love and a graduate of the board & train program. This 4-year-old Plott Hound mix is an absolute sweetheart, and cuddling up with her is the perfect way to spend any day. With her friendly and playful nature, she's a true people pleaser and a joy to have around. Lisa's intelligence shines through as she showcases her impressive skills like sit, down, stay, and come on command. She's a quick learner and enjoys pleasing her humans with her abilities. She loves going on walks and sniffing all the sniffs. But make sure you ALWAYS have a doggie bag handy! This lovely brindle-colored beauty weighs around 60 lbs, and is equal parts spunky lady and lazy house dog. She's crate trained and house trained, making her a well-mannered addition to any home. Lisa is good with kids and enjoys their company. She loves to be near her humans and is very loyal. Her favorite place to be is laying next to you with her head in your lap. If you let her, she’ll even sit on your lap!  She gets along with all types of dogs, regardless of their gender or breed. She loves to play and wrestle, but can also entertain herself with a beloved toy. She would also love it if her human tosses a ball in the air so that she can show off her acrobatics as she jumps up after it. Lisa's greatest wish is to find a loving forever home where she can be showered with affection and enjoy playtime to her heart's content. She has been waiting patiently for this chance for far too long, and she truly deserves a place to call her own. Rest assured, Lisa is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ready to join her forever family. If you're interested in meeting this incredible canine companion, don't wait any longer—apply today to make Lisa's dreams come true! Story
We adopted Petey as a puppy at a local animal shelter. We have had Petey for 2 years and love him to pieces. Petey loves his people, and loves to cuddle when ever one of us is sick or tired. He loves his walks and we are working on not pulling so much on the leash but there is so much to smell. He is kind of getting interested in fetch but that usually turns to keep away or tug of war. He loves to find a random stick but is not destructive to anything in the house other than a trash can if left out or unlocked. Recently we had an issue where he got into a fight with our neighbors dog and they had a nasty scrap in which our neighbors dog required some stitches and wounds and a sore leg at the animal ER. It is not safe or fair for our neighbors dog to be out when Petey is out and therefore we leash him whenever we go to the back yard and this is not fair to him or conducive to our lives either as we have 2 teenage kids and our chaotic life right now with all of the events.

Story
Meet Pen! He's a 10 month old male catahoula mix that has been with LOLA's Rescue for 8 months already while waiting to find his forever home. Pen is a very loyal cuddle companion that would love a home where he can be the spotlight of all your love and affection. He's not a fan of other dogs so a home where the focus is on him only would be amazing. No cats as this boy definitely has a bit of a prey drive. Look at how handsome he is in photos <3 Pen rides good in a car and was potty trained in his previous foster home. Apply online at (www.lolasrescue.com)!
