Story
Hi, Im Mary! Im a 4-year-old female Hound, and I have a heart full of love to give. I might be a little shy at first, but once you get to know me, youll see just how sweet and gentle I really am. I have a mellow spirit and a laid-back attitude that makes me the perfect companion for a quiet, cozy evening at home. Ive been called a bit of a cuddle bug, and I promise Im great at snuggling up with you. I get along well with other dogs, and when Im with them, my shyness melts away, and I can be pretty playful too! Ive got a lot of love and loyalty to offer, and Im looking for a forever home where I can continue to grow and be my true, sweet self. If you're looking for a calm and loving friend, I could be the one for you! The nice folks at RDR will update my profile when they learn more about me. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give. Please visit our website www.ruraldogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other dogs available for adoption!

Apply for a DOG: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CDCK/Dog City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. Not Ready to commit to adopting yet?
