Story
Bruno was on a chain in the back of his previous owner's yard for his entire life. He had never been to the vet when I acquired him about two months ago. I took him to the emergency vet and found out he was dying from heart failure and heartworms. He currently is getting heartworm treatment. Because of the severity of his heartworms, they likely caused permanent heart and lung damage. His medication is $150 per month. He now has received his vaccinations, dewormer, flee/tick medication, a bloodwork panel and will be heartworm negative after finishing his treatment. He will get in the car, sit, is fully potty trained, will walk on the leash, will wear a muzzle for vet appointments and he listens with basic commands. He is not good with other dogs or children, but he is good with adults. He can be reactive if pushed. I can't keep him with my 2 year old daughter and small 14 year old dog. My grandma with end stage dementia also lives with me full-time. I only wanted to keep him from dying
