Unfortunately, due to my increasingly busy schedule and financial constraints, I'm unable to provide Copper with the time and resources he deserves. It breaks my heart to have to make this decision, but I know that finding him a new, loving home is the best thing for him. Azalea has lived indoors with time outside. She is still learning house training because she is just a puppy. She has been around cats and dogs and is very friendly and happy with children. Azalea enjoys car rides so far. We are taking applications for this litter at this time. Once it is time we will go over all of the applications and pick the first qualified application for their personality and needs. This sweetie is Jesse. She currently weighs around 68 pounds and is 4 years old. Jess is looking for a family that likes Bloodhound mixes. Jesse has not had the best life thus far. She quickly learned in her foster home that she is loved, safe, and will be fed and well taken care of. Whether it is due to recovering from her past, being underweight, or just part of her nature, she is very low key. She likes her crate and will self-crate on her own. She is a quiet Bloodhound. She is slowly learning that she can use her voice, too and it is so wonderful. Jesse is doing very well with the other dogs in her foster home and is learning leash manners while at adoption events. Jesse has not been tested around cats or small children. If you are interested in adopting Jesse, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. She wandered to our house and we feed her and her brother they were obviously hungry. We tried to find the owners for days with no luck. Her and her brother are gentle and sweet. My granddaughter plays with her and her brother a lot. She and her brother are staying with my son and his dogs. They would love to keep them but they gave three dogs already. We want her to have a loving home.
