Louise and Thelma came in when they were posted on Facebook for free. The local shelter contacted us to see if we could bring them in to find them a safe home. They are bonded and will need to stay together. They would do best in a home with just the two of them. They are super cuddly and would be amazing Netflix binge watching partners! If you have a quiet home and would like to give these special gals a forever home please contact us!

Story
Ava is a wonderfully sweet girl. She came in as an owner surrender. She lost her front leg when she was hit by a car at a very young age. She is great with other dogs but does need quieter dogs as she can get overwhelmed by high energy dogs since she can't move very fast. She does have a thyroid condition and will need a home that can make sure she is getting her daily medication to keep it under control. She also needs to be kept on a strict diet to keep her from gaining any extra weight. with only one front leg she can't have any extra weight on those joints. She loves people and is quiet the cuddle bug. She lives with a 6yr old child and does great, she would do best in a home with older children due to her mobility challenges. Kimber was brought in from a shelter in KY. She was very emaciated but super glad to get to her foster home! She will talk to you in that typical hound fashion she smiles at you. She’s good with the cats. Good with other dogs bigger not very fond of smaller high energy dogs. She would benefit from a basic obedience class. Loves any attention that you will give her nonstop. Hoover and another male were picked up as strays in Kentucky. They were severely emaciated and full of ticks and fleas. We brought them into our program and within just a few months they look like completely different dogs! Hoover is the life of the party! He has puppy energy and loves to play. He is great with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats or small dogs. He is good with kids, again would be better in a home with older children due to his energy level. He would make an amazing hiking buddy or scent work partner!

Thelma and Louise came in when the shelter saw a post giving them away for free. They reached out to us to see if we could bring them in. They are currently in foster care but they do need to be in a home where they are the only dogs. They are very sweet girls, easy to get along with and love to cuddle! We would like to find a quiet home for these sweet girls. If you would be interested in giving these two special gals a forever home please let us know!
