He loves people and do great in a home with kids and another dog to play with. He is potty trained and crate trained. He is a strong boy so will need someone who is a confident handler to help him with walking on a leash. Hi! I'm Harp and amazing Bloodhound with the ears of a supermodel, the nose of an FBI agent, and the spatial awareness of a runaway freight train! I am currently looking for a permanent couch to claim as my own, and bonus points if you already have a dog- I would absolutely love a furry partner in crime to join me on my adventures! Here is a breakdown of what you can expect if you adopt me: 0 to 60 Zoomies: I am a professional couch potato 95% of the day. But that other 5%? Pure, unadulterated chaos. Watching a dog of my substantial size do the zoomies is deeply spiritual experience. Please clear a path! The "Snack Detective"Nose: My nose is a blessing and a curse. Mostly a curse for your kitchen counters. If you leave a sandwich unattended, consider it a tax payment for my companionship. Zero Size Concept: I love anyone who will love on me including kids and other dogs of all ages and sizes. The only issue? I genuinely believe I am the exact same size as a 10- pound puppy. When I try to play, I bring big-girl energy, so my playmates just need to be okay with my enthusiastic, big girl-sized love. The Velvet Shadow: I am a major Velcro dog. Once I trust you, I will be glued to your side. However, I'm a little timid and easily startle at first. Because of this, I'm a certified flight risk early on- so a secure yard and a secure leash grip are non-negotiable while I learn the ropes. On the medical side, I am already spayed, fully up to date on all my vaccines, house-trained, and crate trained (after filing a formal complaints and protests). I am standard-issue and ready to roll! Ava is a wonderfully sweet girl. She came in as an owner surrender. She lost her front leg when she was hit by a car at a very young age. She is great with other dogs but does need quieter dogs as she can get overwhelmed by high energy dogs since she can't move very fast. She does have a thyroid condition and will need a home that can make sure she is getting her daily medication to keep it under control. She also needs to be kept on a strict diet to keep her from gaining any extra weight. with only one front leg she can't have any extra weight on those joints. She loves people and is quiet the cuddle bug. She lives with a 6yr old child and does great, she would do best in a home with older children due to her mobility challenges. June came to us as a transfer from another rescue. She has settled in nicely at her fosters home. She loves other dogs and absolutely loves to play. She loves eating a bit too much as well! She will sneak into the kitchen for a late night snack if no one is watching her! She stays right with her foster family and doesn't run off.She loves to go with her foster family to the family farm to see the cows and run around and chase the kids on the dirtbikes. She loves children and would make a wonderful addition to a family with kids and other dogs for her to play with! Lizzy is a beautiful 4 yr old female. She was found at a campsite wandering around looking for food. She was moved to a foster who has done an absolutely amazing job with her. Her foster describes her as the bestis girl ever! She is definitely a girls bff! She loves to be wherever you are. She will glady lay her head in your lap. She walks well on a leash and loves to sniff. She also loves being a couch potato. She is not a fan of nail trims but she is very food and treat motivated so much so that she tends to counter surf if left alone. She is very gentle around children and she is cat friendly. She loves other dogs but prefers calmer dogs. If you would be interested in our sweet Lizzy please contact us!
