Meet Gotham (not related to Batman litter)! This sweet boy is ready to find his forever home! From his foster: "Gotham absolutely loves naps and must be cuddling at all times which is absolutely adorable - He loves ice cubes and trying to catch grass hoppers in the back yard - He is still working on being potty trained but has gotten a little bit better this week - He loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs! ADOPTION FEE: $500 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays!   Relishing his second chance at life is 13-week-old Reggie. At a fit 19 pounds, the black and white dappled beauty who’s as sweet as he is snuggly loves cuddling with his foster, showing his paw for more love, rolling over for belly rubs and then prancing perkily about. Moderately energetic for a puppy, he enjoys going for walks, walking well on his leash, and engaging with other similar-sized dogs. Because he’s still teething, Reggie LOVES tennis balls and all chewy toys and is always especially excited to be given kibble as treats, accepting them gently. Highly intelligent, eager to please and easy to teach, motivated by food and love, he currently knows “come,” “sit” and “no,” is crate trained and at work on his puppy manners and house-training. Now what Reggie requires is a loving home to perfect his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and ensure that this life is his best paw-ible life.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption.
