Meet Lacy! This 3 year old Blue Lacy mix is a mama of seven sweet pups and the best house hippo anyone could ask for! A true girl’s girl, she is always up for a Starbucks run (for a Pup Cup), a walk around the park, and TV time to watch her favorite reality shows. She’s a constant shadow, providing protection around each turn, and an avid investigator (you’ll always know where bunnies and neighbor pups hide). Indoors, Lacy is respectful, so kind, and incredibly loving. Outdoors, she is curious, a bit reactive, and becomes hyper-focused on things around her (particularly on animals). She requires mental stimulation, security, and training. She is best suited for someone that will continue her training as her partner so that she can keep exploring the world that she has just begun to experience. She may be a mama, but she’s still young herself and deserves every opportunity to grow into the pup she wants to be. :)

Ginger is the sweetest boy ever. He is very eager to please. He’s a complete love bug and always wants belly rubs and hugs. He’s got a cute little smile once you start petting him. We are working on his confidence right now as he was very nervous coming out of the shelter. We’re still working on getting him comfortable with other dogs, he will set his boundaries and can be reactive when another dog is in his space. He would work best alone without any other dogs in the home. He is also quite nervous around men and young boys, probably from previous experiences. He is a complete velcro dog once he’s used to you, and follows me literally everywhere. His recall is very good because of this, and we are working on it everyday! Ginger would be a lovely addition to any family and he is fiercely loyal to the people in his life. ##2834811##

Meet Chelsea! If you are looking for a lovable, treat-motivated companion who is eager to please, look no further. Chelsea is a resilient girl who is soaking up everything the "good life" has to offer. I am the definition of a "work in progress" in the best way possible! I’ve already mastered "sit" and am currently working hard on "down" and "come." While everything in the neighborhood is still a bit new and sparkly to me, I am becoming braver every day. I’m learning fast! I just had my first zero-accident day, and I’m very proud of myself. I prefer to be near my people. If my crate is in the bedroom, I settle in beautifully for a full 8 hours of sleep. I might give a tiny whimper for a minute at bedtime, but once I have my "night-night treat," I’m a mellow girl until my 6:00 AM potty break. I am VERY treat-motivated. I’m currently (still) learning that kitchen counters aren't for me and that I don’t need to eat my dinner in record time. On walks, I’m a "stop and smell the roses" kind of girl. I can be a little timid when I see other dogs or loud bikes, but my foster mom says I’m very brave—if you show me a treat, I can politely sit and watch them pass by or walk right on through. I haven't met cats or young children yet, but I absolutely adore the young adults in my foster home. My perfect family would be:  Patient & Loving: Someone ready to continue my leash and potty training. Active: I have good energy and love several long walks a day followed by a deep snuggle. A "People" Person: I love being with my humans. While I’m working on my independence, I’d love a home where I’m not alone for long stretches right away. I promise to reward your time and training with a lifetime of snuggles and loyalty. I’m just a sweet girl looking for someone to show me the ropes and provide some clear boundaries!  ##2627770##

Story
Dingo has the sweetest personality! He does not pull on walks, although he does want to stop and smell everything in his path until he gets used to walking on the same path. Always curious and cautious on all the new things he is experiencing, he tends to be a bit shy until he learns more of the world, and people around him. It doesn't seem to take long until he is comfortable with his surroundings and his people.  Dingo loves to play fetch! He will bring the ball back to you so you wont have to chase him. He enjoys trying to play with the rabbits and squirrels to no avail. He does have a decent energy level so he may be happy with a playmate to have fun with.  He is potty trained. He will go outside and has never had an accident in my house. I have left him in the house without being in his crate, and I would come home to find him happy to see me and no damage! He will go in his crate but he prefers to be anywhere you are. His toys are in his crate, till he takes them out, so he knows it is a safe place for him and his toys. He likes to chew his toys, and loves his Kong with kibble and peanut butter in it.  He knows Sit, Stay, Off, No, he will gladly come when you call him, and we are still working on "Shake". He is eager to please, and he is still progressing on learning some commands. He loves to be pet, and belly rubs. And if he likes what you are watching, he will watch TV with you! Cuddles are his favorite.   Dingo has not shown any aggression with me. If you have kids, bring them to meet Dingo so they can get to know each other. It may be love at first sight!  Dingo will make a wonderful family member, and he would love to have a loving, caring, and fun forever family!  ##2834812##
