Harlow the 76 lbs lap dog! I said what I said, ok? Harlow is a 2 year old, male, Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Mix. This sweet, sweet boy is unfortunately, looking for a new home after his humans decided they needed a doodle type dog instead. Harlow is a loyal companion. He is affectionate and loves to kiss his foster mom and dad’s chin. He also LOVES dog friends and would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion in his home. Harlow is untrusting of kiddos and things like bicycles, etc. So, he’s looking for a kid free home – although he does grow deeply loyal to children he knows. They just need to be dog savvy. He enjoys taking sniff walks and responds well to redirection while on leash. At his prior home, Harlow jumped the split rail fence to play with the neighbors dogs. Because of this, we prefer a home with a 5-6 ft privacy fence. Harlow is house trained, crate trained, and did we say a lap dog? He has attended doggie day care and he LOVES it! He was shy and nervous with the staff at first but when they let him with the other dogs he lit up! He’s a goofy, silly, loyal, lovable companion that’s ready to move along to his true forever home. Rose is a 7-month-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Her mom was a French Bulldog, and Rose was the only puppy to survive her birth, making her a little miracle girl who has been loved and cared for from the very beginning. Now around 35 pounds, Rose is a playful, energetic pup who is full of curiosity and personality. She’s incredibly smart, expressive, and a bit talkative, which makes us think there may be some cattle dog or herding dog in the mix somewhere. She loves to interact with her people and is the kind of dog who will really bond with her family. Rose is crate trained and doing great with learning her puppy manners. She lives with kids, cats, and other dogs and does well in a home environment. Like many young dogs, Rose can be a little unsure when meeting new dogs or in new situations. She sometimes comes across as a bit bossy at first, so slow, thoughtful introductions are important while she continues building confidence and learning good social skills. The good news is she’s very trainable and eager to learn, and with continued positive experiences she’s already making great progress. Rose would thrive with a family that enjoys an active, intelligent puppy and is excited to continue her training and socialization as she grows. Clyde is a sweet, energetic, and incredibly cuddly 9-year-old pup looking for his perfect forever home. He’s the kind of dog who loves being close to his people and is a total companion dog who thrives on affection and can happily go with the flow. Clyde is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He does well with female dogs, and would do best as the only dog in the home or paired with a friendly female dog. His favorite things include playing fetch, cuddling, and keeping an eye on squirrels. Clyde has received extensive training for dog reactivity, and he has made great progress, though he can still struggle on walks.
