Story
Harlow the 76 lbs lap dog! I said what I said, ok? Harlow is a 2 year old, male, Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Mix. This sweet, sweet boy is unfortunately, looking for a new home after his humans decided they needed a doodle type dog instead. Harlow is a loyal companion. He is affectionate and loves to kiss his foster mom and dad’s chin. He also LOVES dog friends and would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion in his home. Harlow is untrusting of kiddos and things like bicycles, etc. So, he’s looking for a kid free home – although he does grow deeply loyal to children he knows. They just need to be dog savvy. He enjoys taking sniff walks and responds well to redirection while on leash. At his prior home, Harlow jumped the split rail fence to play with the neighbors dogs. Because of this, we prefer a home with a 5-6 ft privacy fence. Harlow is house trained, crate trained, and did we say a lap dog? He has attended doggie day care and he LOVES it! He was shy and nervous with the staff at first but when they let him with the other dogs he lit up! He’s a goofy, silly, loyal, lovable companion that’s ready to move along to his true forever home. Harlow is in foster in Loveland, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/harlow You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
"Meet Ludo (also known as Luey and occasionally Ludifer). Once upon a time, Ludo was feral, pancaked to the floor in fear, and convinced humans were a deeply suspicious concept. That chapter? Closed. This is his glow-up era. Ludo is now a certified love sponge who lives for belly rubs, attention, and being as physically close to his people as possible. He is the most loyal shadow you will ever meet — laying at your feet everywhere you go, ensuring you accidentally step on him multiple times an hour just so he can confirm you still care. He desperately wants to be loved by humans and dogs and has fully learned how wonderful affection is. He’s a people-pleaser, a dog-pleaser, and just generally thrilled to be included in anything at all. Strangers can still earn a cautious side-eye at first, but the progress he’s made is remarkable — and once you’re in, you’re in. Potty accidents? None in over a month. We’re calling it: potty trained. Belly rubs? His love language. Food? He can eat his body weight and then ask what’s for dessert. Feeding time is his Super Bowl. Ludo loves playing with other dogs and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He’ll also happily play fetch with himself for an hour if no one is available — self-sufficient king behavior. His only quirks: he occasionally decides the kennel is an unforgivable injustice and will howl accordingly (other nights he sleeps like an angel), and car rides over an hour make his tummy protest. Worth noting. Still perfect. From terrified pancake to affectionate, loyal, goofy companion, Ludo has become the dog who just wants to belong — and once he does, he’ll never leave your side." Ludo is in foster in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ludo. Hi, my name is Red! I am an energetic and playful boy who is looking for my new home. I like to play with balls and learn new tricks. I am selective with my dog friends, so I need to find a home where I can be the only dog. I also need a home without kids under 12 years old because I am shy, but then jumpy and mouthy. I would love to go home with you and go on advetures together!

Story
His name is Archer, but we call him Archie! He has been a foster here at Buddy's House for almost 5 months now. We are hopeful he'll find the perfect family soon! He is a 3 year old 50lb Australian Cattle dog mix. He's up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. Archie was rescued from Roswell NM in a kill-shelter and made the journey here. Archie has come a long way since being with us. Initially he was weary of new people and nervous. Now, he's a love bug! He loves other dogs and enjoys playing. He would do okay in a home with older children that know to respect his boundaries and take it slow. He has a big personality and can take a second to warm up. But, once he knows you, he will be your absolute best bud! He loves to roll around in the grass, cuddle on the couch, get pets, and play ball! He's house trained, knows how to use a dog door, good on leash, and good in the car. Archie is a sweet boy, very confident, and loves to explore. Reach out to learn more!

Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 17. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants January 12-18.* Franco is a curious, high-energy guy who’s always ready for his next adventure. He loves playing with his foster siblings and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can run, romp, and burn off his zoomies. Franco enjoys going for walks and would make an excellent hiking or adventure buddy for an active household. He’s smart as a whip and genuinely enjoys puzzles, games, and enrichment that keep his brain engaged. Franco prefers being close to his people and soaking up companionship whenever possible. Franco is completely harmless and has never shown any aggression, however, young children make him nervous, so he would be happiest and most comfortable in an adult-only home where he can fully relax and be himself. Franco is a loyal, fun, and endlessly entertaining companion. Franco is a 10-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Franco is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
I received Gunner as a birthday gift from my kids! I was diagnosed with MS and thought I was able to take care of him! He's very spoiled and I think i'm doing him more harm than good seeing as how I'm in an apartment! He needs to have a yard or alot of acreage to run around! He's not an apartment dog! I care so much for him, I look at him when we are walking by ourselves and he loves it! I always have him on leash when there is no fences, because he or I think he has no recall! But when we go to the dog park he doesn't leave my side! It takes him a minute to warm up to others dogs mainly because he's afraid. When he was a puppy he was afraid of everything! He is leash aggressive and we are trying to work on that but he is too strong for me so I don't walk him on leash around other dogs! I have an electric shock collar for him, but I dont like to use it if I don't have to! I hope that his new owner would love him as much as I do!
