Hello, I'm Watson! I love chasing after tennis balls and playing outside. After those activities, I love napping. I'm a good boy who can sit, wait for my food, and lay down on command. I am house broken and used to going into my kennel. While I love playing with other dogs, sometimes I am a bit shy around humans I haven't met before, so give me some time to warm up to you. Young kids make me a little bit nervous (they can be loud!), so I would prefer a quieter home, or one with teens. If you have a cat or dog I could be friends with, that'd be great! Here's a bit more to know about me: Guilty Pleasure: Cheez-wiz. This young dog will definitely learn a new trick for some of that stuff. Hidden talent: I rarely ever bark, so I'm pretty talented at being sneaky. Favorite time of day: Wake-up time! I'm so excited to see you in the morning and get a chance to stretch my legs. Squeaky or bouncy?: Bouncy by far - give me something to chase after.

I was found running loose as a stray&#44 lame in my left hindleg. The Shelter Medicine Team here at Great Plains SPCA did a bunch of stuff and realized I would need surgery to improve my quality of life.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;After my FHO surgery and a few months of physical therapy&#44 Iandamp;#39;m now 100% healthy and ready for my forever family! Iandamp;#39;m housetrained&#44 doggy door trained&#44 and I know andamp;quot;sitandamp;quot; and andamp;quot;shake.andamp;quot; I spent a couple days out of the shelter with a foster&#44 and she says I was a perfect angel. Equal amounts of playful energy and calm couch potato. My favorite activities in a home are sunbathing and rolling over on my back to wiggle across the carpet.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I was SUPER dog-friendly when I first arrived at the shelter. But as the months have passed and after the pain of my surgery&#44 Iandamp;#39;m a little nervous about meeting new doggy friends. I would love a calm&#44 understanding canine companion who will give me space to acclimate to my new environment.
