Meet Cooper 🐾 Cooper is a 3-year-old Heeler mix with a playful personality, plenty of energy, and a gentle heart. This handsome guy loves to play and would make a great companion for someone looking for an active dog to join them on adventures. Despite his energetic side, Cooper knows how to be gentle — especially with kids. He has lived with three children who love petting and playing with him, and he does wonderfully with them. Cooper also does well with other dogs. He can be a little reserved when meeting a new canine friend, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up and start playing. Cooper is crate trained and has spent his life living both indoors and outdoors. Because of that, he may need a little patience and consistency as he adjusts to living fully indoors and learns the routines of his new home. He generally behaves well when left alone, although his curiosity can occasionally get the best of him when no one is watching. Cooper has never lived with cats, so we don’t know how he would do with feline friends. And will follow you to the ends of the earth. He once saved my life from a house fire (true story) and I wouldn’t want anyone else to by my side if I had to ride into battle. I love Rupert and it’s because of the infinite amount of love loyalty and respect he has. Despite his dog like shape he is still friend shaped. I acquired my pet from an extended family member. He owned two dogs that had a litter and was giving the puppies out to people and I took interest in one. He was born on April 14th, 2020. It would be great if his new home could be someone who is active since Shoto is a very high energy dog. His temperament made him out of his litter be more wild spirited. He is always down to play and run a lot. Him being my first dog, he still gets a little naughty because my training didnt stay consistent for his early days. So at times, he is really smart to find loop holes to not listening easily. But as any dog, I found he was quick to learn if that was upkept. I have been busier and my work schedule doesnt allow me to be with him as much. So I would not want to waste away his years being limited to not getting his energy out as much as I wish.
