Story
Tweety is a stunning young Blue Lacey/German Shepherd mix. This beautiful girl is healthy, affectionate, and social with other dogs. One of her most special traits is her ability to adjust her play style based on her playmates—making her a good companion for a home with other pups or dog-loving friends. Tweety is learning how to walk on a leash and is making steady progress. She’s also house-trained—she uses pee pads reliably at night. She's a light chewer and digger, more curious than destructive, and she hasn’t shown any escape tendencies. She’s crate-trained and feels safe in her designated sleeping area, where she happily retreats after playing outside. While she’s still shy about joining the family on the couch, she’s gentle, non-aggressive, and warming up more every day. Tweety is tolerant of children. She allows pets and affection, even if she’s still a little timid. Tweety would thrive in an active home, especially one with other dogs to help build her confidence. She's a sweet soul who just needs a little patience, kindness, and time to blossom fully. Ready to meet Tweety? Visit wimberleywagrescue.org to fill out an application. There’s no obligation—just a chance to meet your future best friend!

Story
Meet Ollivander 🐾 Age: 3 years | Breed: Blue Lacy Mix Ollivander is a resilient soul with a heart full of bounce and a story of triumph. After facing some tough times early in life, this three-year-old Blue Lacy mix has made an incredible comeback. Now, Ollivander is all about second chances, tail wags, and learning what it truly means to be a dog. He’s got energy to spare—from getting the smallest zoomies, playful toy chases, and a love for affection and cuddles. But he’s also still discovering the world. New toys? A little suspicious. Strange sounds? He might pause and tilt his head. But with a little reassurance, Ollivander's curiosity always wins out. Ollivander is a gentle companion who gets along with other dogs, is sweet with kids, and even respects the family cat. He’s still learning the ropes, but his heart is wide open and ready to love. If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited, and slightly goofy best friend who’s still figuring things out but eager to try, Ollivander might just be your perfect match. Ollivander is located in Texas. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and neuter. If you are interested in adopting Ollivander please complete an adoption application at the link below. Story
There is no doubt that a Pearl is beautiful - a shining symbol of purity, love and loyalty - but did you know that unlike diamonds and other gemstones, a Pearl requires no polishing and is simply stunning just the way it is? Well, the same description can easily be said for this precious blue Pearl with her sleek, shimmering coat and her warm caramel eyes, full of adoring devotion. Anyone who meets her can see there is something extra special about this gorgeous girl, and just like the gemstone, this Pearl is practically perfect in every way. She is a dream around children of all ages, her playful spirit makes her a playgroup rockstar, and her eagerness to please helps her shine brightly during training! She is calmly curious about cats, happily hops into and out of the car for adventures, and absolutely loves water - including the shower/bath! Pearl loves a good cuddle on the couch and is perfectly content to sleep in her crate at night but equally happy to plop herself down in your bed. If you do let her in your bed, rest assured she’ll cuddle for a minute or two but is then very respectful and will sleep the whole night curled up in her own space. Pearl loves a good zoom around the yard and will be over the moon if you happen to have a kiddie pool with her name on it, but most importantly, Pearl truly just wants to love and be loved. Whether you’re the social type that likes to see and be seen, are driven by wanderlust, or spend your time with those closest to home, this precious Pearl pairs with every occasion and your life will be so much richer with her in it, I guarantee!

Story
Meet Max, a 4 years old, playful, sweet boy that`s ready to be your best friend. Max was raised in a loving home and is a well-behaved, crate and potty trained boy that has had to find a new home due to circumstances beyond anyone`s control. Max gets along well with people and is very affectionate. He is also friendly with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Max would love a backyard to run around in or a running partner to go put with. Max has beautiful freckles, socks, and nice, short coat. Max is also working on slimming down a bit as his ideal weight is about 10 lbs less than where he`s at right now. Contact ACS today to arrange to meet this affectionate guy.

Story
Hey there, I'm Paco! I'm a young, sweet, and lovable pup with a chill, easy-going vibe. Think of me as your low-maintenance adventure buddy who's always ready for a good time outdoors. I’m all about camping under the stars, hiking through the trails, or just soaking up the fresh air—any outdoor escapade is my kind of date! Water, though? Not really my thing, but I’ll happily watch you splash around from the shore. I get along great with other dogs—love a good playdate or a pack hike. Cats? Well, let’s just say I’m overly curious about them, so a cat-free zone might keep things drama-free. I’ve never had a home before, so I’m still getting the hang of this whole “going inside” thing. It’s a new adventure, but I’m warming up to it—especially since I’ve discovered the joy of sleeping in a nice, comfy, cool bed all night. I think I could get used to this indoor life with the right partner! Speaking of drama, I’m not here for it. I’m looking for a partner who shares my passion for the great outdoors, enjoys good food (treats are my love language), and craves loyal companionship. If you’re ready for a laid-back, adventure-loving sidekick, swipe right on me, Paco! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Ruby Red! This 1.5-year-old red heeler is as stunning as she is smart—full of spunk, heart, and that classic heeler energy. We may not know Ruby’s full backstory, but it’s clear she’s been around kids—she loves running and playing with them and lights up when they’re around. Ruby is whip-smart and eager to please. She picked up “sit” and “shake” after just a few tries and is definitely food motivated, which makes training a breeze. She’s a great eater, loves her treats, and thrives with structure and activity. Ruby has also done beautifully with other dogs—friendly, social, and always ready to play. Like any true heeler, she needs both mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy, so she’ll do best in an active home that can keep her busy and engaged. If you're looking for a loyal, brilliant, high-energy companion who’s great with kids and dogs alike, Ruby Red might just be your perfect match!
