Hazel – 9-Week-Old Heeler Mix | Tiny Explorer with a Big Personality Hazel is pure puppy joy wrapped up in a tiny, speckled package! This adventurous little Heeler mix is so entertaining to watch — she bounces, pounces, and zooms after anything that moves like it’s her full-time job. Leaves, toys, shadows… if it runs, Hazel is on it. She’s curious about everything and always ready for her next “mission,” which makes her a blast to have around. Hazel would love a home that enjoys an active, playful puppy and will help channel her smart, energetic brain with training, toys, and fun adventures. After she’s done conquering the world for the day, she’s happy to crash and recharge for her next round of puppy shenanigans. If you’re looking for a spirited, funny, and fearless little sidekick, Hazel is your girl! She is being fostered in Texas but can be transported. Bear – 8-Week-Old Heeler Mix | Play-All-Day, Snuggle-All-Night Boy Bear is the total package — playful, loving, and an expert-level cuddle bug. This sweet boy can keep up with the fun all day long, happily playing with toys and romping around with his doggy buddies like it’s the best day ever (because to him, it is). But when the excitement winds down? Bear turns into the ultimate snuggler. He loves being close to his people and will snooze peacefully through the night right next to your head like a tiny, furry pillow. He’s the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and just wants to be where you are. Bear would fit beautifully into a home that wants both playful puppy energy and a devoted little shadow. He’s affectionate, social, and already showing what a loving companion he’s going to be. Mabel is a sweet, gentle puppy who absolutely loves other dogs and gains confidence from having a canine buddy. She can be shy with new people and environments and may hide at first, but with patience and a calm routine, she blossoms beautifully. She’s treat-motivated, already knows how to sit, and loves learning. Once she feels safe, her playful side shines, especially during tug-of-war or with her favorite squeaky toys! Mabel would thrive in a patient home, ideally with another friendly playful dog to help her feel secure. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted pup to nurture and watch grow, Mabel might be your girl You can apply directly for Mabel by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-801 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Ember – 9-Week-Old Heeler Mix | Sweet Snuggler with the Perfect Balance Ember truly is the best of both worlds — she has that joyful puppy playfulness everyone loves, paired with an impressive “off switch” that makes her an expert snuggler. She enjoys romping around with toys, exploring her surroundings, and engaging in gentle play, but when it’s time to relax, Ember is more than happy to curl up close and soak up all the affection she can get. For such a young puppy, Ember has a wonderfully easygoing temperament. She transitions smoothly between active playtime and quiet downtime and seems very in tune with her own needs. When she’s ready for a nap, she will seek out a quiet corner and settle herself in, content and calm. Adding to her charm, Ember has adorable short legs that make her even more irresistible and give her a uniquely cute, compact look as she toddles around. Ember is already doing incredibly well with her routine. She is potty trained and can be kenneled without being destructive. While she tolerates her kennel nicely, she is very people-oriented and will let you know if she’s unhappy — especially if her family is home and she can see or hear them. She simply prefers to be near her people whenever possible, which makes her a loving and devoted companion in the making. Ember would be a wonderful fit for a family looking for an affectionate puppy who enjoys playtime but isn’t nonstop go-go-go. She has all the makings of a pup who will grow into both an adventurous sidekick and a cozy couch companion. Ember is currently being fostered in a home in Texas and can be transported after adoption. Story
Duke’s parents are a very interesting match (Aussie and frenchie) but somehow they made it work and now Duke is here! We were not expecting to have more dogs since we have a new born daughter and he is a toddler (5 months old) himself to be around babies. He has a twin sister named Daisy but she has moved to her forever home already. So we are looking for a good loving home for Duke. He is playful and adorable and just needs a better fit for a home.
