I have decided to re-home my dog, Luna. Luna is 3 years old. She's sweet and friendly full of life and energy. Loves to play with other dogs and run around outside. She isn't aggressive or mean at all. I believe her breed is a Blue Lacy. She is house trained and is pretty chill most days we sit in the sofa together sometimes or she will sit on my feet on the floor and sleep. She has been spayed as well. She loves cuddles...If you or someone you know wants to give her a loving home please let me know. (if you live in or around Austin or Houston would be best). OPTIMISTIC GOOFBALL Estimated date of birth is 8/8/22, weight 55 lbs. So what is a Blue Lacy, you might ask? Why, it’s the State Dog of Texas, of course! https://www.thesprucepets.com/blue-lacy-breed-profile-4769790 Kip is a fun junky that loves to play with other dogs (sometimes it looks like Wrestlemania), but his second favorite activity is to hang out with his foster mom, chewing on a good bone. He’s such a goofball, always optimistic, always sure that a treat is hiding in your pocket and it has his name on it! A sweet potato – yes. A couch potato – not so much, although when he’s worn out, he does relax and loves to be petted while he snoozes on his dog cot. Kip has been to obedience school and knows the basics (Sit, Down, Place, Wait). He also knows how to use the doggy door and stairs, is OK with baths (he splashes around in the pond at the dog park), and looooves to go on walks (and doesn’t pull much). This boy had a rough first year of his life: abandoned at a large park, found his way to a kennel, was picked up by the City Pound, caught parvo at the pound and wound up on the euthanasia list before his foster mom sprung him! Kip’s ideal home environment would have a mom / dad with an active lifestyle, a spunky little canine sister to play and snuggle with, and a nice size backyard to run around and get the zoomies out. **Available for foster or foster to adopt** Hi I'm KangaRoo but you can call me Roo or RooRoo if you like. My foster mom says I am the sweetest girl that she has ever met and super smart. My foster mom says that I have something called hip dysplasia in both my hips, not sure what that is but that must be why I experience pain. A couple of months ago, I had surgery on my left hip and have healed from that. It has helped me so much with pain, and getting around. My right hip still is not good, and foster mom said she will explain this more to my new family. But from what I understand, I'll just need to keep working on building muscle in my hind legs and doing some stretching. Just like the humans do as they get older. I am a super smart girl, and already know sit and how to walk on a leash. I do get excited when I see bunnies on walks but all you have to tell me is leave it and I calm down. My favorite things in all the world are walks with my humans, car rides, and sunbathe. I also like attention from the humans, and I'll talk to you to get your attention.
